Simple, effective tips to prevent and reduce dark spots

Tip 1

Always use sunscreen every day! The vast majority of brown spots on the skin are age spots, also known as lentigo or sun spots. Opt for a sunscreen based on Natural Sunscreen and protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun.

Tip No. 2

Avoid scratching and popping pimples on the face. Scars form unsightly brown spots that are difficult to remove. Consider aloe vera gel if these skin spots persist. Aloe vera is a plant with a thousand and one virtues, renowned for reducing pigmentation spots.

Tip no. 3

Opt for clarifying make-up to restore perfect skin texture. It camouflages brown spots and brightens up the complexion. If you feel your foundation or powder isn't enough, why not use a concealer pencil on spots to blend them in even more.

Expert advice

Brown spots are mainly the result of exposure to UV rays, particularly repeated and very frequent exposure to the sun. Melanin, which is produced by melanocytes and plays a role in the skin's natural protection, can, after several years' exposure, concentrate in certain areas of the skin and make it more pigmented. This is why it is so important, as soon as the sun begins to shine, to apply adequate sun protection to prevent the appearance of brown spots.
