  • Its tightening and regenerating effects make this gel a very beneficial anti-ageing cosmetic product. Some of its active ingredients are reputed to stimulate collagen synthesis, fibroblast growth and hyaluronic acid.

  • It is known to reduce brown spots and delay them from appearing on the hands and face.

  • Aloe vera is rich in polysaccharides (mannose-6-phosphate, acemannan, etc.) known as aloeverose (1200 mg/L guaranteed in the native juice used), which have moisturising and softening effects.

Tried and tested

Thanks to its high concentration of fresh, native Aloe vera juice, our ORGANIC Aloe vera gel provides your skin with intense, long-lasting hydration for up to 6 hours after application.

*Laboratory test using the corneometry method.

Uses

Undiluted on the skin and hair, as a treatment

This native aloe vera gel can be used pure on the skin and hair and is suitable for all skin and hair types.

For the skin, apply it:

  • As a tightening gel for the face and eye contour before your cream.

  • After your serum like your cream.

  • After shaving to soothe the skin.

  • In a thick layer like a moisturiser*.

For hair, apply it:

  • To 80% dry hair to moisturise the hair fibre and reduce frizz.

  • After your hair leave-in to set curls.

  • To flatten your hair.

  • In a thick layer like a moisturiser.

* hydration of the upper layers of the epidermis

Tip

For an even more complete, less "dry" skin care product, add a few drops of carrier oil to your dab of aloe vera gel in the palm of your hand before applying.

The application of aloe vera gel causes a "tugging" sensation on fine skin, which fades after a few minutes. If you have thin or fragile skin, use aloe vera gel as an active ingredient instead in blends enriched with carrier oils.

In practice

As a base or active ingredient in your treatments

  • Aloe vera gel can be used as a base for your skincare products and enhanced with the active ingredients of your choice. As long as the active ingredients are water-soluble (it's an aqueous gel). Lipophilic active ingredients (essential oils, carrier oils, bisabolol, etc.) are not soluble in aloe vera gel. However, it is possible to incorporate essential oils by adding a carrier oil, to create a two-phase treatment.

  • Aloe vera gel can also be used as an active ingredient at the end of the formula (cold) in your skincare products. Our advice: to ensure the stability of your formulas, we advise you to add 5 to 10% aloe vera gel and not to mix it with formulas containing grapefruit seed extract because of incompatibility.

Quality

A 100% natural composition, obtained from native aloe juice, made exclusively from fresh leaf netting to preserve all the plant's active ingredients.

Production process

The leaves are harvested entirely by hand and processed within hours of being picked. They are peeled to remove the aloin (also known as aloe latex, an irritant and highly laxative compound). The leaves are then washed and rinsed twice to recover the fresh, colourless gel, which is then pressed to give the native juice.

Composition

Active constituents of native Aloe vera juice :

  • Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, B12, C, E, choline…

  • MINERALS (calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, sodium, chlorine, manganese, magnesium,

  • Copper, chromium, zinc….****) . Aloe Vera juice contains over 20 minerals essential for the correct functioning of the skin's various enzyme systems.

  • Enzymes including bradykinase: a pain-relieving, healing enzyme that relieves inflammation. Its action is reinforced by the presence of silicic acid.

  • Sugars (mannose-6-phosphate and acemannan) including aloeverose (1200 mg/L guaranteed in the native juice used): moisturising, emollient and immune system stimulating action. The sugars are capable of retaining large quantities of water (moisturising effect), making the skin smooth and elastic and reducing wrinkles.

  • Glycoproteins and amino acids (phenylalanine, leucine, lysine, etc.): Aloe contains 18 of the 22 amino acids found in the human body, including 7 of the 8 essential AA. They are involved in the regeneration of skin tissue (multiplication of keratinocytes and fibroblasts).

  • Lectin: promotes healing.

  • Saponins: cleansing and antiseptic.

  • Lignin: promotes skin penetration of the plant's active ingredients.

  • Every day, new studies reveal the existence of new compounds with remarkable properties:

    • Aloetin and aloesin: antiseptic action

    • Aloelucine: activates cell regeneration and accelerates the healing of ulcers
