We Choose the Natural Way
Our philosophy of care: natural-origin formulas, active and effective for your skin and hair.
Why choose natural? To benefit from powerful active ingredients, to ensure solutions that are safe for human health, and to reduce our impact on the environment.
We are constantly innovating to offer natural alternatives to conventional market formulations. For our plant-based extracts, we give priority to organic farming.
Our natural dermo-cosmetic actives, such as Vitamin C or Hyaluronic Acid, are derived from non-polluting biotechnologies, certified by the Cosmos standard to protect the environment and preserve natural resources.
Take, for example, our Spilanthes Concentrated Serum. Its effectiveness comes from an innovative plant-based complex that inhibits muscle contractions, combined with a synergy of Hyaluronic Acid, Cacay Oil and Astragalus. The formula is 100% of natural origin, certified Organic and Vegan.
Our position on synthetic ingredients
We follow the Cosmos standard for natural cosmetics, with the exception of certain actives that cannot be sourced in natural form but remain essential for their proven benefits and effectiveness (Niacinamide, peptides used in our Hair and Lash Serum (Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1), vitamins…). We select these actives with the utmost rigor for their efficacy, while safeguarding their complete safety and continuously seeking natural alternatives.
Spotlight on Niacinamide
We have specifically chosen this high-purity grade, which ensures a very low residual level of nicotinic acid below 100 ppm (compared to other grades on the market, which can reach up to 1000 ppm). This guarantee provides complete safety for this ingredient.

We Select the Finest Ingredients
Whether plant extracts or dermo-cosmetic actives, the pursuit of the highest-quality ingredients is part of Aroma-Zone’s DNA.
Our formulas include plant extracts with the most interesting biochemical compositions: botanical oils, hydrosols, Aloe vera, plant butters, powdered botanicals… all sourced directly from our growers, with 70% coming from organic farming.
Our formulations, particularly our serums, are also highly concentrated in natural-origin dermo-cosmetic actives. We carefully select these actives for their proven efficacy, safety for human health, and excellent skin tolerance. We prioritise 100% natural-origin actives derived from non-polluting biotechnologies. Emulsifiers, surfactants, and emollients in our formulas come exclusively from green chemistry.
Two examples: We decided to work with a producer of virgin Cacay oil, who supports a responsible, sustainable, and ethical supply chain in the Meta region of Colombia. This terroir provides the oil with the most beneficial biochemical composition for the skin: high in retinol and vitamin E, with a lightweight, non-greasy texture.
Our 10% Vitamin C Serum is enriched with Astaxanthin, a microalga with powerful antioxidant properties, excellent for combating oxidative stress. Astaxanthin is cultivated in closed bioreactors (glass tubes) in a production unit adhering to the highest quality standards and eco-responsible technology. Extraction is performed using supercritical CO₂, without any chemical solvents, resulting in a highly pure active ingredient. The CO₂ used is 100% biogenic and fully recycled in the process.

We work directly with our own plant materials and actives, sourced, validated, and secured by our scientific experts. This approach allows us to control 100% of the quality of our formulas.

We Develop Concentrated Treatments with Proven Efficacy
The hallmark of our Research & Development team: natural formulas with some of the highest active concentrations on the market, no unnecessary ingredients, short compositions, and up to 100% active content.
Many of our natural cosmetics and aromatherapy treatments are formulated with 100% active ingredients, entirely derived from plant-based raw materials. For example, our Precious Facial Oil offers a 100% active formula for the skin, combining a synergy of five rare organic plant oils. Its preservative? Also active and 100% plant-based: organic rosemary CO₂ extract, with antioxidant and purifying properties.
Among our 100% active formulas are our facial care oils/oleoserums, flower elixirs/hydrosols, hair care oils, stretch mark body oil, our full range of body butters and massage oils, our range of plant-based hair colours, and much more.
All our facial serums and creams have demonstrated proven efficacy, tested in external laboratories under dermatological supervision.
For example, our Hyaluronic Acid Serum contains hyaluronic acid of different molecular weights (from 5 kDa to 1800 kDa) at a concentration of 3.5%, compared with 0.1-2% in conventional cosmetics. Dermatological tests have proven its efficacy: it reduces the depth and width of wrinkles, provides long-lasting hydration for up to 6 hours after application, and 80% of testers reported that it firms the facial contour, smooths the skin, and improves elasticity.
Across our range of serums, for example, we use hyaluronic acid as a gelling agent rather than a texturising agent like xanthan gum. The hyaluronic acid adds its moisturising and plumping power while giving our serums a very pleasant gel texture, making our formulas even more active for your skin.

We Guarantee Maximum Safety
Our laboratory ensures the highest level of safety of our products for your health. By choosing natural formulations, we go beyond European regulations. We automatically exclude numerous synthetic ingredients that raise concerns for human health, as well as for their toxicity to soil, animals, and aquatic environments.
All our treatments undergo thorough toxicological data analysis and a range of specific tests. We carry out local tolerance tests (irritation, ocular testing, photosensitisation), clinical studies, and in vitro tests on reconstructed human epidermis to guarantee perfect skin tolerance. These models closely mimic human skin physiology, are reproducible and robust, and align with the brand’s strong commitments, as they are certified vegan.
For example: our Lipid Replenishing Balm has been tested and deemed safe for use from birth, meeting the highest standards for skin tolerance and health safety. All this comes in a formula that is 100% natural, certified Organic and Vegan, providing immediate relief for irritated skin.

Stricter Than European Standards
By choosing natural formulations aligned with the Cosmos standard, we go beyond European regulations. For example, we automatically exclude numerous synthetic ingredients that are questioned for their environmental impact or are subject to other controversies.

We Ban PFAS from Our Formulas
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, known as PFAS, are often called “forever chemicals” due to their persistence in the environment. This large family of thousands of chemical compounds has been widely used in consumer products since the 1950s, including in makeup and cosmetics. These “forever chemicals” pose dangers to both human health and the environment. We have never used PFAS, and we go further. We proactively exceed regulatory requirements by testing for the absence of PFAS traces in our finished products, formulas, and primary packaging, using specific analyses carried out by independent laboratories.

No Microplastics in Our Formulas
Microplastics are strictly prohibited in our formulas. These tiny plastic particles (smaller than 5 mm) are sometimes added to conventional cosmetics, cleansing products, and makeup for their exfoliating, texturising, or film-forming properties. The problem? Non-biodegradable, microplastics persist in freshwater and marine environments, threatening wildlife and potentially human health. You may find them listed in INCI under names such as carbomer, polyethylene, butylene/ethylene/styrene copolymer, acrylates copolymer, nylon-12, dimethicone, polyacrylate, and others.
To avoid them, choose products certified Organic (Ecocert, COSMOS), which strictly prohibit their use.
