How can I keep flies away naturally?

While essential oils of citronella, geranium, lavender or lemon eucalyptus are particularly effective in chasing away these invaders, other natural solutions can be useful if you don't have them to hand.

Prick an onion or lemon with a few cloves and place it in rooms infested with these insects.

Place a few bowls filled with 12° alcoholic vinegar in rooms around the house. The pungent smell will scare the flies away.

How can you get rid of ants naturally, without killing them?

They can be formidable when they climb up our legs or invade our kitchens, but it's vital to protect ants because of their important role in the environment. Although lavenderpeppermint or clove essential oils are useful for keeping ants out of your home, you can also opt for other natural solutions.

Sprinkle a little Ceylon cinnamon powder at theentrance to the ants' hole to make them turn back.

Mix a little sodium bicarbonate with washing-up liquid to form a paste and place it at the point of entry to deflect the ants. Don't add sugar to this solution, as ants will tend to bring sugar back into their anthill, the aim being not to kill them but to scare them away.

Natural solutions to keep mosquitoes away without industrial products?

Lemon eucalyptus, citronella, geranium, lemon tea tree, or Atlas cedar, essential oils are effective against these flying insects..

On the other hand, if these ingredients are not in your top essential oil list, mosquito netting is the top way to keep mosquitoes away. Although mosquito netting is practical for protecting you from unwanted insects while you sleep, it's not very practical for an evening in front of the fire.

The most effective moth repellents

To preventfood and clothes****moths from invading your cupboards, essential oils of Atlas Cedar, Virginia Cedar, Clove, Noble Laurel and Lavender are great allies.

If you don't have any at hand, clean infested cupboards from top to bottom and spray a little 12° Alcohol Vinegar in the bottom and corners of cupboards to prevent moths from taking up residence.

To dislodge food moths exclusively, remember to put a little salt around jars, such as Himalayan Pink Salt.

How can I keep wasps away easily?

Clove essential oils , of Cryptomeria Lemongrass... There's a long list of essential oils capable of scaring off those unwanted guests that terrify us.

If these essential oils are not part of your emergency kit, spray a mixture of half a litre of water, 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and 4 tablespoons ofolive oil several times a day on the most populated areas.

Cloves are just as effective as theessential oil. Crush a few and place them in saucers in strategic places.
