Powdered mouthwash
Birch Xylitol
1 tablespoon

Baking soda
1 tablespoon
Peppermint Essential Oil
10 drops
Step 1
Mix the powders and disperse the essential oil into the powder mixture.
Step 2
Pack the powder into a small jar.
Step 3
To make a mouthwash, dilute ½ teaspoon of the mixture in ½ glass of water.
Step 4
Rinse your mouth, holding the mixture in your mouth for a few moments, then spit it out.

I make my recipe from start to finish.
1. I make my own toothpaste powder (50 g)

White clay or calcium carbonate
25 g

Siwak or baking soda
15 g
Xylitol
10 g

Zinc citrate or Répar'émail*
1 g (Zinc Citrate) or 3 g (Enamel Repair)

Essential oil and/or menthol crystals
17 drops or 0.5 g
White clay or calcium carbonate: to gently clean teeth.
Siwak or sodium bicarbonate: to cleanse and neutralize acidity.
Xylitol: to fight cavities and provide a sweet taste.
Zinc citrate or enamel repair: to fight tartar and plaque, but also to whiten and remineralize teeth
Essential oil and/or menthol crystals: to freshen breath.
*Optional active ingredient
Step 1
Measure all the ingredients in a mortar.

Transfer the powder to a jar.
2. I make my own homemade toothpaste (100 g)

Clay or calcium carbonate
50 g
Mineral water
30 ml

Sorbate & benzoate complex
19 drops

Xanthan gum
1 g
Xylitol
20 g

Zinc citrate or Enamel Repair
2 g (zinc citrate) or 5 g (Enamel Repair)
Essential oil
35 drops
Clay or calcium carbonate: to gently clean teeth
Mineral water: to form the paste
Sorbate & benzoate complex: to preserve the toothpaste
Xanthan gum: to stabilize the formula
Xylitol : to fight cavities and provide a sweet taste
Zinc citrate or Répar'émail*: to fight tartar and plaque, but also to whiten and remineralize teeth
Essential oil: to freshen breath

Step 1
Measure the calcium carbonate or clay, xylitol, mineral water, and benzoate & sorbate complex preservative into a bowl.
Step 2
Mix to homogenize.
Step 3
Add xanthan gum by sprinkling it in while stirring for better solubilization.
Step 4
Leave to rest for 15 minutes to allow the gel to form.
Step 5
Add the essential oil and mix.
Step 6
Transfer the preparation to a bottle.

3. I make my own solid toothpaste (50 g)

White clay or calcium carbonate
20 g
Foaming paste or sci surfactant
2 g

Coconut vegetable oil
10 g

Stearic acid
7 g
Xylitol
10 g

Zinc citrate or Enamel Repair
1 g (Zinc Citrate) or 3 g (Enamel Repair)

Essential oil and/or menthol crystals
17 drops or 0.5 g
Clay or calcium carbonate: to gently clean teeth.
Foaming paste surfactant or SCI: to purify and cleanse the mouth.
Coconut vegetable oil: antibacterial, to sanitize the mouth.
Stearic acid: Texture agent to make the toothpaste solid.
Xylitol: to fight cavities and provide a sweet taste
Zinc citrate or Répar'émail*: to fight tartar and plaque, but also to whiten and remineralize teeth
Essential oil and/or menthol crystals : to freshen breath

Step 1
Measure out the clay or calcium carbonate, surfactant, coconut oil, xylitol, stearic acid, and menthol (if used) into a bowl.
Step 2
Mix with a pestle to homogenize.
Step 3
Heat the mixture in a double boiler to melt the stearic acid, then remove from the heat.
Step 4
Incorporate the essential oil (if used).
Step 5
Pour the batter into a mold
Step 6
Wait 48 hours before unmolding and use.
