100% natural origin
Gels water and aqueous solutions (hydrolats, etc.)
Produces beautiful transparent gels, with or without bubbles (depending on the type of agitation used)
Cold or hot gelation
Provides a soft and slippery feel
Use as an ingredient in your preparations:
Preparation of gels, ideal for your slimming gels, eye contour firming gels, refreshing gels, and "light legs" gels
At low doses: stabilises emulsions, modifies texture (adds smoothness) and viscosity (thickening agent)
Dosage
0.2 to 2% (of the total weight of your preparation) to be added in the aqueous phase.
Insoluble in oil
Water soluble
Dissolve in the aqueous phase when cold or hot.

Emulsion stabilisation by adding 0.2-0.3% xanthan gum in the aqueous phase. This also increases the viscosity of the emulsion and provides a soft, slightly slippery feel (xanthan gum is used in particular to stabilise emulsions made with the emulsifier Gélisucre).
Production of gels of medium to thick viscosity with 1% to 2% xanthan gum in water or hydrosol.

Allergens
Allergen-free
Preparation of a cold gel
Utensil: Hand whisk or electric mixer
Sprinkle the xanthan gum into the water (or hydrosol) while stirring to separate the gum particles.
Wait for the xanthan grains to rehydrate completely (about 5-10 minutes), stirring regularly, then mix well with a mini whisk or hand mixer to ensure a smooth consistency.
Note: It is possible to make a lump-free gel with very little stirring, even when cold.
Preparation of a hot gel
Utensil: Hand whisk or electric mixer
Heat the water (or hydrosol) to between 40 and 70°C, and add the xanthan gum "in a shower" while stirring simultaneously.
The gel forms in the same way as when cold, but rehydration will occur more quickly.
Mix thoroughly with a mini whisk or electric mixer.
Zero waste promotion: minimum use-by date July 2026
Quality
Transparent and easily dispersible, cosmetic ingredient.
Method of production
Xanthan gum is naturally sourced and composed of natural sugar polymers produced by biotechnology: fermentation of beet, cane, or corn sugar by non-genetically modified Xanthomonnas campestris bacteria. Xanthan gum is guaranteed GMO-free and produced without the use of GMOs. It is approved by Ecocert for use in certified organic cosmetics.

Mass / Volume conversion (for a liquid)
Mass (g) = Density x Volume (ml) at 20°C
Further information
1 full teaspoon = between 3 and 4.5 ml
1 full tablespoon = between 7.5 and 10 ml
However, these spoon ratios depend on a number of factors (e.g. viscosity of the liquid, temperature, depth and size of the spoon, rheological behaviour of the liquid), and we strongly advise you to use precise measuring equipment, such as graduated test tubes, graduated pipettes, and precision scales.
Wonderful quality!
It forms a few small lumps, but it's very effective for jellies
Excellent
Far too many products out of stock. You're alienating your loyal customers who make their own products. A real shame, you'll regret it.
