Skin Types
For skin prone to shine and blemishes (enlarged pores, comedones, blackheads). For combination to oily skin prone to blemishes.
Step 1 – Prebiotic, Zinc & Cucumber Gentle Cleansing Gel:
Morning and evening, apply to damp skin on the face and neck using circular massage movements, then rinse with lukewarm water
Step 2: 2% Salicylic Acid & Zinc Serum:
In the evening only, on clean skin, apply a few drops to the face and neck, massaging gently to help the product absorb. This product is not suitable for sensitive skin and is not recommended during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding. Avoid the eye area. Due to its very high concentration of salicylic acid, this serum must not be used in combination with other products containing salicylic acid (Salix Nigra Bark Extract) or glycolic acid. Use daily sun protection and avoid exposure to the sun for up to one week after the last application. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Step 3 – Manuka & Postbiotics Purifying and Balancing Oil Serum:
Apply the Oil Serum to your face and neck on its own in the morning and in the evening after your serum.

IMPACT OF DIET
SUGAR: A diet rich in high-glycaemic-index carbohydrates or with a high glycaemic load (which in practice includes ‘sweet’, refined or highly processed foods) is associated with an increase in the frequency and severity of acne. The proposed mechanism is that these foods cause rapid spikes in insulin and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), stimulating sebum production, inflammation, the proliferation of sebaceous gland cells and the formation of acne lesions.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, blackheads are not necessarily linked to poor skin hygiene. They appear when sebum and dead skin cells build up in the pores. On contact with the air, this build-up oxidises and turns a dark colour. Skin prone to blackheads can therefore be perfectly clean.
Conversely, cleansing too frequently or too harshly can upset the skin's balance and further stimulate sebum production. It is therefore better to opt for a gentle, tailored routine rather than trying to strip the skin.
In addition, a targeted purifying treatment can help minimise blocked pores. A mask containing montmorillonite green clay (smectite) can help to absorb shine and gently purify the skin. Used once or twice a week, it helps to visually refine the skin's texture.
Yes, blemishes and blackheads aren't just a concern for young skin. As we age, the skin's natural renewal process slows down, which can lead to a build-up of dead skin cells on the skin's surface and within the pores. Some adult skin types therefore exhibit a lack of radiance, fine lines and localised blemishes.
The aim is to adopt a routine that helps purify the skin whilst maintaining comfort and hydration. Active ingredients such as bakuchiol, a plant-based alternative to retinol, are particularly effective at improving the appearance of skin texture, promoting cell renewal and helping to minimise blemishes. The Bakuchiol Serum is suitable for mature skin seeking both a smoothing and rebalancing effect. Precautions for use of Bakuchiol Serum:
Carry out a patch test on the inside of your elbow 48 hours before first use.
This serum is not suitable for very sensitive skin and/or skin prone to atopic conditions.
As this product is highly concentrated, we recommend introducing it gradually into your skincare routine.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Keep out of reach of children.
The T-zone, comprising the forehead, nose and chin, naturally produces more sebum than the rest of the face due to a higher concentration of sebaceous glands. This tendency promotes the appearance of shine, visible pores and blackheads, particularly around the nose where pores are often more prominent.
To care for this area, it is recommended to use lightweight formulas that moisturise without leaving a greasy residue. The Zinc Hyaluronate & Plant-Based Salicylic Acid Fluid Cream helps to minimise shine by mattifying the skin whilst moisturising it.
To control shine throughout the day, a non-comedogenic mattifying powder such as the Translucent Mattifying Compact Powder can complement your routine by helping to absorb excess sebum and visually blur the skin’s texture.
Pore size depends mainly on genetics, skin type and hormonal fluctuations. It is therefore not possible to ‘close’ them completely. However, their appearance can be minimised when the skin is clean and mattified. Pores clogged with sebum and impurities tend to appear larger and more pronounced. A suitable skincare routine that purifies the skin and controls excess sebum can help to make the skin texture more even and the pores less visible.
After cleansing, using a balancing toner can complete the routine by helping to remove any remaining impurities and visually improve the skin’s appearance. The Niacinamide 5%, Inc. & Hyaluronic Acid Toning Lotion helps to mattify, soothe and smooth the skin’s appearance whilst maintaining its natural balance.
Contrary to popular belief, not all oils contribute to blemishes. Certain light plant-based oils are particularly well-suited to combination to oily skin. Jojoba, for example, helps to naturally balance sebum production thanks to its composition, which is similar to that of the skin’s own sebum. Hazelnut oil is prized for its dry finish and rebalancing properties, whilst black cumin oil is traditionally used to purify blemish-prone skin.
An oil suited to your skin type does not necessarily lead to blocked pores. It can even help maintain skin comfort and prevent imbalances caused by over-cleansing. Certain richer or more occlusive oils, such as coconut oil, are, however, less recommended for blemish-prone skin.
