Composition

Manuka, Magnolia and Black Pepper Complex: this combination of active plant ingredients significantly reduces the microbial activity of acne lesions, reducing spots such as papules and pustules. This complex helps to balance the skin's microbiota by reducing the growth of virulent strains of Cutibacterium acnes, a bacterium recognised as a key species in acne. It also combats the creation of biofilm, an organised conglomerate of bacterial cells associated with dead skin cells that acts like a kind of glue, clogging pores. Finally, this plant-based combination decreases the production of sebum on the skin's surface by reducing the activity of 5α-reductase. This complex gives the serum its purifying effects.

Postbiotics: 100% natural in origin, this complex of inanimate micro-organisms with prebiotic activity encourages the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis, a 'good' bacterium with protective and regulating effects, which counteracts other bacteria responsible for skin discomfort.
