Salicylic Acid 2% & Zinc Serum

• Plant salicylic acid: Made from Black Willow extract concentrated in salicylic acid, this purifying and keratolytic active ingredient stimulates skin renewal, smoothes blemishes, combats blackheads and unclogs and tightens pores. It gives this serum a soothing effect and reduces skin discomfort. Salicylic acid is involved in the arachidonic acid cascade, a fatty acid that is a precursor to the formation of prostaglandin E2, a molecule with inflammatory effects. It gives the serum exfoliating and purifying properties.

• 2 forms of zinc:

Zinc PCA: Essential for purifying oily, acne-prone skin, zinc slows down sebum production, soothes discomfort and combats the appearance of pimples. In this formula, zinc PCA salt is used for its compatibility with the skin and moisturising effects. PCA, or pidolic acid, is a natural component in skin tissue that protects the skin barrier. It gives the serum a dual effect that is both purifying and moisturising.

Zinc Hyaluronate: This innovative active ingredient offers a comprehensive solution for blemish-prone skin. By reducing the spread of bacteria, especially Propionibacterium acnes (which is responsible for acne), it regulates inflammatory factors. Its soothing effects relieve irritated and delicate skin. It reduces scar formation by increasing the collagen III/I ratio synthesis, accelerating the healing process. It reduces sebum secretion, reinforces the epidermal barrier and reduces insensible water loss to maintain skin hydration. The combination of zinc and hyaluronic acid gives this serum its purifying, soothing and moisturising effects.

• Agarikon mushroom extract: Derived from an ancient medicinal mushroom, this extract, which is titrated in agaric acid, is a natural astringent. It reduces the size and surface area of pores in as little as 15 minutes. Thanks to this extract, the serum effectively targets pores and reduces the appearance of blackheads.

• Moisturising complex: From 100% natural origin, this combination of sugar and hyaluronic acid is produced by biofermentation. Hyaluronic acid is a powerful moisturising, plumping and anti-wrinkle active ingredient. It gives this serum a soft, slightly jelly-like texture, while providing instant and long-lasting moisturisation.
