Mild surfactants

A blend of two gentle surfactants obtained from amino acids. Respecting the hydrolipic film, they cleanse the skin without damaging it or drying it out.

Pure Vitamin C

Ascorbic acid, better known as vitamin C, is a must-have in cosmetics for its powerful antioxidant and clarifying properties. It is one of the most effective active ingredients for improving the condition of sun-damaged skin, brown spots and the signs of skin ageing. Thanks to its action on melanin synthesis, vitamin C also helps to reduce brown spots, even out the complexion and restore the skin's radiance.

Papaya enzyme

A natural enzyme obtained from papaya, it belongs to the protease family. Proteases are enzymes that break peptide bonds in proteins. It is therefore very useful in an enzyme exfoliant for breaking the peptide bonds of proteins in dead keratinocytes (skin cells) in excess on the surface of the skin. It gently dissolves and eliminates excess dead cells to smooth skin texture, add radiance to the complexion and erase imperfections.

Natural lipase and protease enzymes

Made up of a blend of lipase and protease, these two enzymes effectively remove dead cells, excess sebum and all the impurities present on the skin's surface, for deep cleansing that respects even the most delicate skin. This combination of enzymes from the protease family and enzymes from the lipase family provides optimal exfoliating action on dead cells, excess sebum and impurities. The proteases loosen and dissolve dead cells, while the lipases break down lipids and help to eliminate sebum and lipid impurities (such as make-up residue or sun protection).

Is this cleansing powder suitable for use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding?

This enzyme cleansing powder is suitable for use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

How often should I use this enzyme cleansing powder?

Use daily in the morning and/or evening as a facial cleanser and once or twice a week as an exfoliant. In this case, leave on for 1 to 3 minutes.

Is this cleansing powder suitable for all skin types?

It is suitable for all skin types, even the most delicate. In fact, enzyme exfoliation is the gentlest type of exfoliation, unlike mechanical or chemical exfoliation, which can be less well tolerated by sensitive skin.

What is an enzyme cleanser?

The aim of exfoliation or scrubbing is to remove excess dead cells, sebum and impurities from the skin's surface, literally "giving it a new look". This action smoothes out skin irregularities, combats blemishes and blackheads, restores radiance to the complexion and boosts cell renewal. A must for beautiful skin!

There are 3 types of exfoliation:

  • Mechanical exfoliation: with particles of varying size that exfoliate the skin by friction. Particularly effective for exfoliating the body or thick skin, this type of treatment is more specifically suited to dry, rough skin.

  • Chemical exfoliation: this is carried out using acids to remove dead skin cells. AHA fruit acids, plant salicylic acid and lactic acid are natural acids used to make facial peels and radiance boosters. This type of exfoliation is suitable for dull complexions and skin with imperfections.

  • Enzyme exfoliation: natural enzymes such as lipases and proteases gently remove dead skin cells and excess sebum from pores and skin. This scrub has the advantage of being highly effective in deeply purifying the skin, while being non-abrasive. Gentle enough for everyday use, it is particularly suitable for sensitive skin and acne-prone skin, which tends to be prone to inflammation.

What is double cleansing?

Double cleansing is a skincare routine that removes make-up and deeply cleanses the skin. The result is purified skin, a smoother skin texture, unclogged pores and a radiant complexion. Double cleansing consists of removing make-up with a cleansing oil and then completing the cleansing with a gentle cleansing product such as a cleansing gel, cleansing powder or gentle cleansing bar. Double cleansing is suitable for all skin types.
