What is micellar water?

Micellar water cleanses and removes make-up thanks to the presence of micelles, without the need to rub or rinse the skin. Micelles are microspherical particles formed by the solubiliser added to the water to give it its cleansing and make-up removal power.

Once in the water, these molecules come together to form micro-spherical particles that protect the lipophilic tails from the water.

Soaked into a washable cotton pad and in contact with the skin, the micelles contained in the water will attract/precipitate the fats at their centre. Impurities, particles of pollution, make-up, sebum and any other dirt bound to the lipophilic part of the micelle are removed from the skin and left on the cotton pad, without the need to rub or rinse.

How do I use micellar water?

Micellar water is used for daily hygiene of the face, neck, lips and eyes, morning and evening before applying your face and eye care products. For the face, neck and lips:

Soak a washable make-up remover pad or cotton pad, apply to the skin and gently smooth from the inside to the outside of the face. There is no need to rub or rinse the skin. For the eyes:

Soak a washable make-up remover pad or cotton pad and place it over the closed eye for several seconds. Then gently slide the cotton pad from the inside to the outside of the eye, then in circular movements from top to bottom. To remove mascara, sweep the cotton pad from the root to the tip of your lashes and repeat until there is no make-up residue left on your eyes.

Is micellar water suitable for delicate skin?

Our micellar water is ideal for delicate skin. It is formulated with a gentle solubiliser that is 100% natural and has no foaming action on the skin. So it's not as aggressive as some of the cleansing agents found in conventional cleansers and make-up removers. This solubiliser is combined with another sugar derived from starch, boosting its effectiveness while providing hydration and softness: a synergy of effective natural ingredients for optimum tolerance. Micellar water is applied to a cotton pad or make-up remover square, using smoothing or tapping movements, but never rubbing, which respects even the most delicate skin.

Is it suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

This micellar water is suitable for pregnant and breast-feeding women.

Are the bottle and cap recyclable?

The micellar water bottle is made from RPET, which is 100% recycled and recyclable from plastics found in the oceans, and the cap is made from PP, which is recyclable. The bottle and cap can be recycled in the recycling bins.
