Step 1

Gently cleanse and dry your skin.

Step 2

Before applying your cream, apply a few drops of the serum tailored to your skin's specific needs to your face and neck, massaging it in to help the product penetrate.

Step 3

Take a small amount of Hyaluronic Acid and Polyglutamic Acid Cream and apply to the entire face and neck, massaging until completely absorbed.

Ingredients

Polyglutamic acid: A true hyaluronic acid booster, polyglutamic acid acts as an intense moisturizing agent, coupled with a powerful anti-aging agent that strengthens the skin's elasticity. It is a polypeptide (a chain of amino acids) naturally present in fermented soybeans, known as natto. Its strong affinity with water molecules and its ability to stimulate the skin's natural moisturizing factor give it intense moisturizing properties.

By protecting the hyaluronic acid naturally present in our skin from degradation and stimulating collagen production, it plumps and firms the skin. It is composed of D-glutamic acid and L-glutamic acid. High molecular weight polyglutamic acid (≈ 2000 kDa) forms a shield on the skin's surface, while low molecular weight polyglutamic acid (≈ 1 kDa) penetrates the skin to act deep down.

Our laboratory has chosen to incorporate both grades into the formula for optimal effectiveness and overall moisturizing action.

The polyglutamic acid used by Aroma-Zone is produced by non-GMO fermentation.

New-generationhyaluronic acid - patented active ingredients:

This formula combines two types of hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights and a broad spectrum (<20 kDa to 3,000 kDa) offering powerful moisturizing, repairing, and smoothing properties.

Low molecular weight hyaluronic acids < 20KDa: restore the integrity of the skin barrier, reduce roughness and inflammation, provide enhanced hydration, and stimulate the natural production of collagen and hyaluronic acid. They reduce insensible water loss (IWL), increase skin elasticity and firmness, and have a repairing effect.

High molecular weight hyaluronic acids between 50KDa and 3000KDa: improve skin firmness and elasticity for a lifting effect while smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. Thanks to these two grades, the formula acts on several biological targets.

Frequently asked questions

What skin types is this cream suitable for?

This cream is suitable for all skin types, especially dehydrated and/or mature skin.

Is this cream suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

This cream is suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Why moisturize your skin?

Skin hydration corresponds to its ability to retain water in its surface layers. The skin is composed of 70% water, but only a small portion (10 to 20%) is found in the epidermis. This water is essential for ensuring supple, plump, and radiant skin.

Every day, the skin naturally loses between 0.3 and 0.4 liters of water through evaporation: this is known as insensible water loss (IWL). The hydrolipidic film on the surface of the epidermis is made up of water and lipids and acts as a protective barrier against dehydration. However, external factors such as climatic conditions (wind, cold, sun, pollution, etc.), overly aggressive cleansing, poor skincare routines and natural aging can damage this skin barrier. Water evaporates more quickly, leaving the skin dehydrated, uncomfortable, dull and marked by fine lines

Why does your skin become dehydrated?

The surface of your skin is an acidic environment made up of microorganisms, perspiration, lipids, detaching corneocytes, keratinizing cells, and trans-epidermal water. It is prone to dehydration if these compounds are altered, particularly at three levels.

Firstly, at the level of the lipid cement, which ensures watertightness by repelling water due to its hydrophobic properties.

Second, there are the natural moisturizing factors (NMF), which can account for up to 30% of the total dry weight of the stratum corneum. These are a variety of substances, including amino acids, urea, lactate, pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA), and others. These are water-soluble, highly hygroscopic compounds that capture and retain water within the hydrolipidic film.

Finally, the hydrolipidic film forms a slightly acidic (4.2 to 6.7) protective emulsion on the stratum corneum, which is water-in-oil (W/O) in nature and slows down dehydration.

(The above communication is a summary compiled by our experts based on currently available scientific data. It is provided for informational purposes only.)

What causes the hydrolipidic film to deteriorate?

It covers the stratum corneum and is your skin's ultimate defense against environmental factors (harsh weather conditions, UV rays, excessive washing and exfoliation, etc.) and endogenous factors (skin conditions, itching, dryness, roughness, irritation, sensitivity, etc.).

The same skin can be affected by several of these factors at once (cold weather + exfoliation + smoking + acne, etc.). It is estimated that the skin undergoes around 17 thermal shocks per day, depending on your lifestyle and environment.

(The information below is a summary compiled by our experts based on currently available scientific data. It is provided for informational purposes only.)

How can you tell if your skin is dehydrated?

Its hydrolipidic film is still effective, but the PIE no longer guarantees its suppleness. Your skin is dull and feels tight in certain areas (cheeks, etc.).

It may appear shiny due to increased sebum secretion and show fine lines of dehydration that are not related to age (around the eyes, forehead, etc.).

This condition is reversible; your skin will become smoother and more radiant over time with the application of moisturizing creams or fluids, and your makeup will stay on better.

All skin types (dry, combination, oily, acne-prone, mature, etc.) can become temporarily dehydrated. The common misconception is to confuse dehydration with the skin's need for nutrition.

The need for nourishment is mainly observed in dry skin, which sees its transepidermal water loss (TEWL) increase to 18 g/m²/hour compared to 5 to 9 g/m²/hour for normal skin. Dry skin is dry all the time, while dehydrated skin is only dry at certain times.
