As a cosmetic ingredient, organic jojoba carrier oil is recognised for the following properties:

Organoleptic properties

  • Appearance: fairly viscous oily liquid. May set below 15°C. In addition, a natural deposit or cloudiness may appear at the bottom of the bottles. This is due to jojoba oil's natural composition of waxy esters and does not affect the quality of the product.

  • Odour: soft, vegetal, very light nutty odour

Simmondsia chinensis, more commonly known as 'Wild Hazelnut' or Jojoba, grows in the deserts ofSouth America. It has roots that can grow to over 30 metres long, enabling it to capturemoisture in desert soils and resist drought. Each year, the tree produces numerous oil seeds from which liquid Jojoba wax is extracted.

PRE-SHAMPOO MASK:

  • Castor oil carrier oil: 1 tablespoon

  • Olive carrier oil: 1 tablespoon

  • Jojoba carrier oil: 10 drops

  • True lavender essential oil: 10 drops

  • Carrot essential oil: 5 drops

  • Clary sage essential oil: 5 drops

Use: Massage the mixture into the hair and scalp for several minutes. Cover with a damp towel and leave on for 1 hour before shampooing.

SHAMPOO

  • Castor oil: 1 tablespoon

  • Basic shampoo: 1/2 glass

  • Jojoba carrier oil: 14 drops

  • True lavender essential oil: 10 drops

  • Rosemary cineole essential oil: 4 drops

Use: Apply the mixture, massage and leave on for a few minutes before rinsing.

Use: Gently massage into the affected areas of the skin every day. As Orange essential oil is phototoxic, you are advised not to expose yourself to the sun for several hours after application.

Directions: Mix the oils, flowers and chervil. Expose to the sun for 7 days. Filter. Add the essential oils.

Use: Skincare oil to be used as a day or night cream.

Hand and nail care oil (N. Purchon)

  • Vitamin E capsules: 5 (1250 units in all)

  • Sweet almond carrier oil: 1 tablespoon

  • Avocado carrier oil: 2 teaspoons

  • Olive carrier oil: 2 teaspoons

  • Evening primrose carrier oil: 20 drops

  • Benzoin absolute: 5 drops

  • White sandalwood essential oil: 10 drops

  • Lemon essential oil: 10 drops

Directions: Open the vitamin E capsules and pour the contents into a 60 ml bottle. Add the oils and shake vigorously. If possible, leave for 4 days to allow the effects of the different substances to amplify through synergy Use: Place 4 to 6 drops in the palm of your hands. Massage in. Use this oil after washing your hands before going to bed.

Neck oil (N. Purchon)

  • 2 capsules of vitamin E

  • 1 tablespoon avocado carrier oil

  • 2 teaspoons jojoba carrier oil

  • 1 teaspoon wheat germ carier oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon evening primrose carrier oil

  • 5 drops palmarosa essential oil

  • 5 drops of carrot essential oil

  • 5 drops of lavender essential oil

  • 5 drops of rosewood essential oil

Use: Open the vitamin E capsules, pour into a bottle and add the oils. Shake vigorously. Shake before each use.

Moisten the neck with cold water. Pour a few drops of the mixture into the palm of your hand and gently massage the neck, working upwards towards the chin. Repeat until the oil is completely absorbed into the skin.

Regenerating night oil (N. Purchon)

  • 2 teaspoons apricot kernel carrier oil

  • 1 teaspoon hazelnut or grape seed carrier oil

  • 1 teaspoon jojoba oil

  • 1 teaspoon wheat germ oil

  • 5 drops evening primrose carrier oil

  • 5 drops palmarosa essential oil

  • 5 drops of carrot essential oil

  • 5 drops of rose or rosewood essential oil

  • 5 drops of rose geranium essential oil

  • 2 drops of ylang-ylang or jasmine essential oil

Use: Very rich and nourishing, this oil is suitable for all skin types, regulates sebum secretion and has a softening and anti-wrinkle effect. Before applying a few drops of this oil, moisten the area around the eyes with a little water (to hydrate the skin).

"Morning Dew" moisturiser - Normal or combination skin (N. Purchon)

  • Wheatgerm carrier oil: 1 teaspoon

'Sensitive skin' egg mask (N. Purchon)

  • 1 beaten egg yolk

  • 1 teaspoon of Jojoba oil

  • 1/2 teaspoonof honey

  • 1 drop carrot of essential oil

  • 1 drop of Chamomile essential oil

  • 1 teaspoon of lotion powder or cornflour

  • rose water

Method: Pour the egg, jojoba oil, honey and essential oils into a small bowl, mix and then add the powdered lotion or cornflour. Moisten with rose water until a smooth paste is obtained.

Use: Spread the mask over your face and neck. Lie down, relax completely and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then remove the mask with lukewarm water and spray the face with cold water.

  • Jojoba carrier oil: 1 teaspoon

  • Green clay: 1 tablespoon

  • Lemon essential oil: 2 drops

  • Wild chamomile essential oil: 2 drops

Directions: Mix the ingredients.

Use: Cleanse the skin with a lotion, then dry thoroughly. Apply the mask and leave on for 10 to 20 minutes (remove immediately if tingling occurs). Rinse off with lukewarm water. Spray the skin with floral water, then apply your day or night cream.
