Simmondsia chinensis, more commonly known as 'Wild Hazelnut' or Jojoba, grows in the deserts ofSouth America. It has roots that can grow to over 30 metres long, enabling it to capturemoisture in desert soils and resist drought. Each year, the tree produces numerous oil seeds from which liquid Jojoba wax is extracted.
Its composition is very different from that of other carrier oils, but its properties are no less remarkable.
With a composition similar to human sebum, it has a remarkable affinity with the skin and hair. Used in skin care products, Jojoba oil is renowned for preventing dehydration and revitalising asphyxiated skin. Its dry texture and original composition enable it to reinforce the hydrolipidic film and regulate the flow of sebum in oily skin. It can also be used in hair products to rebalance oily hair and restore vitality to dry, brittle hair. In both cases, it adds shine, suppleness and beauty.
Organoleptic properties
Appearance: fairly viscous oily liquid. May set below 15°C. In addition, a natural deposit or cloudiness may appear at the bottom of the bottles. This is due to jojoba oil's natural composition of waxy esters and does not affect the quality of the product.

Castor oil carrier oil: 1 tablespoon
Olive carrier oil: 1 tablespoon

Use: Massage the mixture into the hair and scalp for several minutes. Cover with a damp towel and leave on for 1 hour before shampooing.
SHAMPOO
Castor oil: 1 tablespoon
Basic shampoo: 1/2 glass
Jojoba carrier oil: 14 drops
True lavender essential oil: 10 drops
Rosemary cineole essential oil: 4 drops
Use: Apply the mixture, massage and leave on for a few minutes before rinsing.
Olive carrier oil: 35 ml
Jojoba carrier oil: 10 ml
Argan carrier oil: 5 ml
Patchouli essential oil: 90 drops
Directions: Mix all the ingredients together. Massage a small amount into the scalp. Wrap your head in a warm, damp towel and leave on for 20 minutes, then shampoo.

Egg yolk (dry hair) or whole egg (oily hair): 1
Rosemary cineole or Yang-ylang essential oil: 3 drops
Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
Directions: Mix well

Directions for use : Gently massage the scalp, then coat your hair with the preparation. Cover with a warm towel and leave overnight. Shampoo the next day.

Use: Apply generously to the areas to be treated (skin or scalp), at least twice a day (every evening for the scalp and shampoo the next morning), for 15 days DIRECTIONS: equipment required: a mini-mortar, a mini-scale, a mini-pestle or a mini-whisk. Place the mortar on the scale and tare it. Weigh all the essential oils in the quantities indicated, then add the jojoba carrier oil and blend with the whisk. Then add up to 50 g of aloe vera gel. Mix off the scales until the two phases are completely miscible. This gel should be kept in a cool place and used within two months.

If possible, leave for 4 days to allow the effects of the different substances to amplify through synergy Use: Place 4 to 6 drops in the palm of your hands. Massage in. Use this oil after washing your hands before going to bed.

Moisten the neck with cold water. Pour a few drops of the mixture into the palm of your hand and gently massage the neck, working upwards towards the chin. Repeat until the oil is completely absorbed into the skin.

1 beaten egg yolk
1 teaspoon of Jojoba oil

Method: Pour the egg, jojoba oil, honey and essential oils into a small bowl, mix and then add the powdered lotion or cornflour. Moisten with rose water until a smooth paste is obtained.
Use: Spread the mask over your face and neck. Lie down, relax completely and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then remove the mask with lukewarm water and spray the face with cold water.

For the second time in a row, I received a damaged package. In the first order, a bottle of oil was open. In the second order, even worse: a bottle of preservative broke, staining all the essential oils in the package white and making them sticky. In addition to the damage, the labels are completely ruined. I absolutely cannot use these products for my exhibition as planned. Packaging and quality control service needs a total overhaul.

I don't have much experience with jojoba oil, but I have to say I'm finding it works very well for me. Applied right after showering, before drying off, it leaves my skin super soft and nourished. Very satisfying. It feels like a natural product.
