What is our 10% Glycolic Acid AHA Serum Concentrate?

Our Glycolic Acid 10% AHA Skin Care Serum is an exfoliating concentrate that uses glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from sugar cane. Formulated at a concentration of 10%, this serum is designed to promote cell renewal, smooth skin texture and brighten the complexion by removing dead cells from the surface of the epidermis. It helps to refine skin texture, reduce irregularities and reveal a more even, radiant complexion.

This serum is particularly suitable for skin showing signs of ageing, pigmentation spots or uneven texture. Thanks to its gentle yet effective exfoliating action, it helps to smooth fine lines and improve skin radiance while stimulating collagen production for visibly firmer, revitalised skin.

What is the 10% Glycolic Acid AHA active ingredient?

The 10% Glycolic Acid AHA active ingredient is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived naturally from sugar cane. Glycolic acid, known for its small molecular size, penetrates easily into the skin, where it dissolves the bonds between dead cells on the surface of the epidermis. At a concentration of 10%, it gently exfoliates, promotes cell renewal and helps reveal smoother, brighter skin.

How do I use it?

For which skin types?

Our glycolic acid concentrated facial serum is particularly recommended for:

  • Mature skin

  • Oily skin

  • Problem skin

When should it be applied?

Glycolic Acid 10% AHA Serum should be used in the evening, as its exfoliating action can make skin more sensitive to the sun. Apply it after using a face cleanser but before any other products such as moisturisers or anti-ageing serums. Leave the serum on for a few minutes to allow it to be fully absorbed before continuing with your other skincare products, such as a moisturiser or collagen serum. Use it once or twice a week at first, and adjust the frequency according to your skin's tolerance.

How do you apply it?

  1. Cleanse your skin: start with a gentle cleansing to remove impurities and prepare your skin to receive the serum.

  2. Tone: apply a soothing toner to balance your skin's pH and prepare it to absorb the serum's active ingredients.

  3. Apply the serum: apply a few drops of Glycolic Acid 10% AHA Serum to your face when it is thoroughly dry, avoiding the eye area and lips. Gently massage the product into the skin.

  4. Moisturise: follow with a moisturising serum, such as a hyaluronic acid or collagen serum, then finish with a moisturising cream to seal in the moisture.

  5. Sun protection: apply sun protection to protect your skin the next morning. You may be more sensitive to UV rays after exfoliation.

Which serums should I use Glycolic Acid 10% AHA Serum with?

Our 10% Glycolic Acid AHA Serum Concentrate can be combined with multiple serums for a complete skincare routine, while meeting your skin's specific needs. Here are a few suggestions:

Collagen Serum: collagen is essential for skin firmness and elasticity. After exfoliating with glycolic acid, applying a collagen serum helps stimulate cell regeneration and strengthen the skin's structure.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum: hyaluronic acid intensely hydrates the skin, which is essential to maintain hydration and prevent dehydration after exfoliation.
