Vitamin C 10% & Astaxanthin Serum

Vitamin C : This powerful vitamin is essential for the synthesis of collagen, which gives the skin its firmness and elasticity. Vitamin C also has antioxidant effects, helping to protect the skin from premature ageing (loss of firmness, wrinkles, fine lines, dull, uneven tone) by neutralising the free radicals caused by the sun, pollution, stress, and smoking.

Vitamin C stimulates cell renewal, leaving skin regenerated, smoother and more radiant. It is also renowned for reducing dark spots and brightening skin, restoring radiance to dull, tired complexions. For this serum, we have chosen vitamin C of natural origin in the form of a glucoside derivative (combined with sugar). It provides optimal stability, ensuring a long-lasting high concentration of vitamin C that is effective over time.

Astaxanthin : Extracted from the micro-algae haematococcus pluvialis, astaxanthin belongs to the carotenoid family and has unrivalled antioxidant properties. Its antioxidant protection is:

• 1500 times greater than curcumin

• 770 times greater than co-enzyme Q10

• 100 times greater than vitamin E

Its lipophilic yet hydrophilic structure provides comprehensive protection for skin cell membranes, offering complete antioxidant protection. It is the perfect option for combatting the effects of ageing, the sun, UV rays and smoking, and protects the skin from oxidative stress.

This micro-algae is cultivated in closed bioreactors (glass tubes) in Austria, in a production unit that works to the highest quality standards, mainly by using 100% electricity from renewable sources. Astaxanthin is extracted from seaweed using supercritical CO2 extraction, an eco-friendly technology that uses no chemical solvents and produces an extremely pure active ingredient. The CO2 used comes from 100% biogenic sources and is completely recycled in the process.

Hyaluronic acid : 100% naturally sourced and produced by wheat fermentations, hyaluronic acid is a powerful moisturising, plumping and anti-ageing ingredient. It gives this serum a very soft and slightly jelly-like texture.
