Uses

Apply a small amount of serum to the entire face and neck, massaging gently to help it absorb. Then apply your day or night care (cream or oil).

Use this serum in the morning or evening, before your care product, 2 to 3 times a week for the first two weeks, then gradually increase frequency.

How do I refill my concentrated Retinal serum?

Step 1

Unscrew and remove the pipette from the bottle.

Step 2

Clean the bottle and pipette with hot soapy water, then rinse and dry carefully.

Step 3

Use scissors to open the eco-refill over the predefined area.

Step 4

Pour the contents of the eco-refill into the bottle.

Step 5

Close the bottle by screwing the pipette onto the bottle.

Retinal

Our retinal is 100% natural and obtained by biotechnology. By transforming into retinoid acid in skin cells, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, stimulates cell differentiation and renewal, and protects and stimulates the collagen and elastin fibres that give the skin its structure and firmness. It also has potent antioxidant effects, combating oxidative stress caused by UV rays, tobacco, pollution, etc. Clarifying and illuminating, it reduces hyperpigmentation spots. As an antibacterial agent, it reduces the spread of bacteria, especially Propionibacterium acnes, responsible for inflammation and acne spots. Retinal also improves the appearance of skin with rosacea by reducing redness. In synergy with mastic pistachio extract, it provides this serum with anti-aging and anti-blemish efficacy.

Mastic Tree extract

Derived from the resin of the bark of the Mastic tree grown on the Greek island of Chios, this extract increases the amount of retinoic acid naturally present in the skin by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for its breakdown. Retinoic acid can therefore play an anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle role, as well as targeting blemishes, dark spots, and smoothing the skin. In synergy with retinal, it provides this serum with anti-aging and anti-blemish efficacy.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid is a powerful moisturising, plumping and anti-ageing active ingredient, 100% natural and produced by fermentation of wheat. It gives this serum a very soft, slightly jelly-like texture , while adding its own properties.

Retinal, more active and without the side effects of retinol

Cosmetic products containing retinol are primarily available on the market. However, it's important to know that retinal is the intermediate form in the conversion of retinol to retinoic acid in skin cells. To be effective in skin cells, retinol must be metabolised into retinal and then into retinoic acid (the active form of vitamin A).

Using retinal instead of retinol eliminates a step in the metabolism process of retinoic acid. Retinal is directly converted into retinoic acid in the skin, whereas retinol must undergo oxidation to convert into retinal and then into retinoic acid. By bypassing this transformation step for skin cells, retinal allows for a more effective and controlled release of retinoic acid and a reduction in the undesirable side effects of retinol (irritation, redness, phototoxicity, etc.) caused by an excessively high dose of retinoids.

Our Retinal Serum Concentrate can be combined with the Hyaluronic Acid Serum Concentrate by applying either one in the morning or evening.

Retinal Concentrate Serum is a water-based serum containing hyaluronic acid. Bakuchiol serum is an oil-based serum containing vegetable olive squalane. Retinal serum is more suitable for sensitive and delicate skin.
