Dr Agathe Aoun, dermatologist

What is your area of expertise and training?

I'm a dermatologist who's been practising in Martinique for over ten years, so I have a certain expertise in skin that is darker or from a mixed ethnic background.

Why are you working with Aroma-Zone? What do you like about it?

I was asked to write articles for Aroma-Zone on subjects relating to dermatology and black skin. I enjoy the editorial work, the fact that I'm doing scientific literature research and staying up to date. Also, explaining science in layman's terms, particularly in my field, is very important to me: getting clear messages across from a reliable source is something I try to do in my daily practice, so why not online too. What's more, Aroma-Zone allows me to discuss organic and natural products, which is something patients always ask for during consultations!

What do you do as part of this collaboration?

I write articles on issues specific to black skin, but also on dermatology in general. I also highlight some of Aroma-Zone's new dermo-cosmetic products, using a scientific approach.

What does Aroma-Zone mean to you?

  • Quality, affordable products

  • A committed brand

  • An innovative brand (in terms of product development)

  • An expert and educational brand

  • A brand that gives you considerable freedom of choice between DIY and ready-to-use products

What are your favourite products?

The mosquito repellent spray (living in the West Indies means being surrounded by mosquitoes in the rainy season, etc.), therelaxing orange blossommassage treatment oil , the aloe vera gel (used for the skin, mucous membranes, scalp, etc., etc.), Hyaluronic Acid Concentrate Serum and Neutral Base Hair Mask.

Naturopathy

Specialists in natural health, our naturopaths share their advice on how to prevent seasonal ailments, avoid deficiencies, boost your immunity and regain your energy. Their advice is not intended to replace allopathic (conventional) medicine, but to help you improve your daily well-being.

Stéphanie Catrysse

What is your area of expertise and training?

I'm a naturopath, trained at the Euronature school in 2016 and certified by FÉNA (the French naturopathy federation). After that, I did a number of additional training courses in coaching, psychology and massage. Passionate about aromatherapy and phytotherapy, nutrition, personal development and well-being, I practice with a holistic vision of health.

Why are you working with Aroma-Zone? What do you like about it?

To tell you the truth, the first orders I placed online when I was 18 were on the Aroma-Zone website. At the time, there weren't any physical shops. I've seen the brand grow, develop, diversify the choice of products, create its own skincare products and food supplements, open its own shops and popularise the use of natural products in the bathroom, the first-aid kit, the kitchen and even the cleaning cupboard. I'm delighted to be working with Aroma-Zone and to see more and more people turning to natural products when it comes to looking after themselves and their loved ones.

What do you do as part of this collaboration?

I write advice sheets, dossiers and recipes on subjects that inspire me, to share as much as possible of my knowledge, research, bibliography and, above all, my passion.

What does Aroma-Zone mean to you?

For me, Aroma-Zone gives access to a wide range of natural, high-quality products that are affordable to as many people as possible.

With Aroma-Zone, aromatherapy and phytotherapy are within everyone's reach, thanks to expert advice, recipes and educational packs.

The brand has democratised natural beauty and health DIY products, which are quick and easy to make at home, so that everyone can enjoy making their own products or remedies while controlling their composition and adapting them to their specific needs.

What are your favourite products?

As a fervent user of Aroma-Zone products since 2013, I obviously have my own little selection of favourites:

  • all the pure, cold-pressed organic plant oils, which I particularly recommend for their quality and naturalness.

  • I usethe hair mask base both as a shower mask and as a 'pre-wash' treatment that I leave on for several hours. You can add specific oils or active ingredients depending on your hair's needs.

  • the concentrated hyaluronic acid serum, which I use morning and night without exception before my treatments or moisturiser. This moisturising serum is fluid, pleasant to use and quickly absorbed. It has worked wonders on my skin, which tends to get dehydrated easily.

  • the box of 3 "Zen in everyday life" aromatherapy roll-ons , practical to slip into your handbag or jacket so you can take them with you wherever you go. I prefer the "stress and emotions" roll-on, which is part of the set but can also be purchased on its own, and is made up of 8 calming and soothing essential oils to gently accompany everyday emotions.

  • Organic Urucum powder, intensely rich in beta-carotene, is ideal for preparing the skin for the sun and fighting free radicals.

Lou Dumas

What is your area of expertise and training?

I'm a graduate of a top business school (HEC) and worked for 10 years in marketing development in cosmetics and perfumes (LVMH, Puig) before going to naturopathy school (CENATHO, Paris). So my areas of expertise are skincare in the broadest sense and naturopathic advice (lifestyle, essential oils, food supplements, superfoods, etc.).

Why are you working with Aroma-Zone? What do you like about it?

  • I write in-depth content for the website (themed dossiers, health factsheets).

  • I also advise Customer Services by email on specific issues, over and above purely commercial requests.

What does Aroma-Zone mean to you?

  • Natural products accessible to as many people as possible (transparency and quality, unbeatable prices, educational resources).

  • Great agility in developing new products in line with the needs of a committed community.

Christine Barris

  • Human naturopathy: diet, micronutrition, plants, gemmotherapy, clay, Bach flower remedies, foot reflexology, etc.

  • Animal naturopathy: diet, plants, gemmotherapy, clay, Bach flower remedies

  • Iridology: iris analysis to determine predispositions and offer personalised advice

  • Sophrology: a method based on breathing and positive visualisation, which helps you identify your resources and promotes well-being, letting go and a positive view of events.

I am trained and certified in each of these areas.

Why did you choose to work with Aroma-Zone? What aspects of this collaboration do you particularly enjoy?

Aroma Zone is a company committed to natural wellbeing, which is my favourite area. They uphold values that I care about

Their products are made with natural ingredients, with no unnecessary additives, and the formulas are as simple as possible, which goes a long way towards being kind to both our bodies and nature. What's more, they're reasonably priced, which shows a real commitment to natural wellbeing for everyone, which is very important to me.

Those are the reasons why I chose to work with Aroma Zone, and I'm proud to have my image associated with Aroma Zone, because we share the same values.

What is your contribution to this collaboration?

My collaboration with Aroma Zone covers two areas:

  • Writing articles on topics related to my areas of expertise

  • Writing content (text and videos) for training all the sales teams in the various Aroma Zone shops in France, in the fields of food supplements, superfoods and herbal teas.

What does Aroma-Zone mean to you personally?

Aroma Zone is an engaging company, on a human scale, committed to respecting nature and people.

Its success and rise show that its employees are committed and convinced of the soundness of its approach, and that's what counts for me.

Do you have any favourite products among those offered by Aroma-Zone?

Given the amount of time I spend on the website and in the Aroma Zone shops as part of our collaboration, I'm starting to get to know the products well 😀

I particularly like:

  • The rose quartz face massage roll on, a natural way to promote beautiful skin by activating circulation

  • The wooden foot massager, which allows me to stimulate energy points as in foot reflexology

  • Hyaluronic acid, a must-have for youthful skin, easy to use with its pipette bottle and watery texture.

  • Triple magnesium, which combines different types of magnesium to optimise its bioavailability and limit the side effects sometimes associated with certain forms of magnesium (digestive problems).

  • Fine Lavender PDO essential oil from Haute Provence, a must for lavender, especially from my region, which I put a drop of on my pillow in the evening before going to sleep, as it is particularly soothing.

  • Lemon and Orangeessential oils, which I use in my natural gourmet recipes, adding freshness and deliciousness to my desserts.

  • The Arnica and Immortelle EO roll-on, which is easy to use and very effective for bruises.

Catherine Gilette

What is your area of expertise and what training do you have in this field?

My area of expertise is plants, including cosmetics, for which I was trained by the Ecole Lyonnaise des Plantes Médicinales, and aromatherapy and olfactotherapy, for which I was trained by the Ecole Française d'Aromathérapie Intégrative. Olfactotherapy is the psycho-emotional dimension of scents, a fascinating way of delving into the psyche. After taking psychology courses at the FAC in Tours as an auditor, I continued in the same vein with a course in psychology at IFORT. I think I'm insatiably curious about Nature and human nature!

Why did you choose to work with Aroma-Zone? What aspects of this collaboration do you particularly appreciate?

I'm very familiar with Aroma Zone products, as I used them when I worked for an environmental protection association running DIY cosmetics and cleaning products workshops. It was at the very beginning of this movement and I appreciated the availability on the market of such raw materials to transform! Aroma-Zone is the story of a small company that has grown and I've seen it grow... That's why I chose this partnership.

I like several aspects of this collaboration: the team is friendly and responsive; I work at my own pace, where I want and when I want, and I keep discovering little things that enrich my knowledge by digging into the articles: this or that new study that corroborates a property, a story I didn't know about a plant, etc.

What is your contribution to this collaboration?

I'm helping to enrich the knowledge about plants, bringing my vision and my knowledge. I hope to give readers the desire to discover and deepen their knowledge of the plant world, and I also hope that the incredible properties of plants will make them feel better in their lives.

What does Aroma-Zone mean to you personally?

For me, Aroma-Zone is a bit like a person I come into contact with on a daily basis, without really knowing them, but who, over the years, has become part of my environment! AZ also represents the possibility of accessing products that allow you to give free rein to your imagination, your desires and your needs, for as many people as possible.

Do you have any favourite products among those offered by Aroma-Zone?

I like simplicity as much as quality, which is why I love organic raw shea butter, jojoba and aloe vera! I also have a soft spot for all citrus essences...

Gabrielle Adrian

What is your area of expertise and what training do you have in this field?

I'm a sex therapist and couple therapist. I studied at Isabelle Gace's sexology school and have a DU in Sexual Health for All at the Sorbonne.

Why did you choose to work with Aroma-Zone? What aspects of this collaboration do you particularly appreciate?

Aroma-Zone is a brand I'm very attached to because it's been part of my skincare routine for almost 12 years now. When I saw that the brand wanted to call on experts, I wanted to take part in this adventure for several reasons.

Firstly, I deeply appreciate Aroma-Zone's values, particularly their commitment to natural, environmentally-friendly products. This philosophy resonates strongly with my own personal and professional convictions. Secondly, I've always been impressed by the quality and diversity of the products offered by Aroma-Zone, and I was keen to contribute my expertise to their development.

Finally, working with Aroma-Zone allows me to share my knowledge and experience with a community that is passionate about skincare. Skincare is also about personal well-being, especially in the intimate life of couples.

What is your contribution to this collaboration?

I write articles on the brand's blog and I also contribute videos on the instagram account to talk about intimate subjects.

What does Aroma-Zone mean to you personally?

Aroma-Zone has been part of my skincare routine for 12 years, and I'm loyal to the brand and have seen it evolve. I'm convinced that self-care and well-being require a holistic approach that includes not only the body, but also the mind. For me, Aroma-Zone represents a natural skincare philosophy that aligns perfectly with this vision, and even more so since the brand works with a variety of experts.

Amandine Granger

What is your area of expertise and what training do you have in this field?

I've always had a passion for people and a desire to help others, so I began my studies with a degree in psychology. At the end of this degree, I wanted to switch to a care practice that offered a more holistic view of the human being. I found this through naturopathy: a practice that takes into account all aspects of a person, whether emotional, physical or mental. So, in 2022, I embarked on an in-depth 3-year training course at an FENA-accredited naturopathy school.

Why did you choose to work with Aroma-Zone? What aspects of this collaboration do you particularly appreciate?

Working with Aroma-Zone allows me to share my knowledge of natural health and make it accessible to as many people as possible. It's a very important opportunity for me, because I think that everyone should be able to be more autonomous and more involved in their own health. I enjoy working with a company that is a benchmark in the world of organic and natural products and with which I share a common set of values.

What is your contribution to this collaboration?

As part of my collaboration with Aroma-Zone, I write articles on natural health. Through these articles, I pass on my knowledge so that everyone can find the keys to taking charge of their own health.

What does Aroma-Zone mean to you personally?

For me, Aroma-Zone is a committed company that makes healthy, natural products accessible to as many people as possible.

Do you have any favourite products from Aroma-Zone?

I have a favourite product that I've been ordering from Aroma-Zone for years: Yemen red henna. I can't do without it! It's the only henna I've tested that gives my hair such intense highlights.
