Frequently Asked Questions
According to Dr Nina Roos, a dermatologist (author of *SOIN, la peau* by Aroma-Zone), menopause is often accompanied by dryness, discomfort and sagging skin, particularly in the lower face. She recommends natural retinol (bakuchiol or retinal), which is better tolerated than synthetic retinol on mature skin, as well as low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid serums to help improve the skin’s elasticity.
Plant-based oils, rich in essential fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins, nourish and protect the skin whilst giving it a healthy glow. Rosehip oil is notable for its high content of omega-3, omega-6 and carotenoids, which promote cell renewal: it improves elasticity, reduces wrinkles and pigmentation spots, and nourishes the skin without leaving it feeling heavy.
Spilanthes Plant Concentrated Serum combines hyaluronic acid, cacay oil, astragalus root extract and a complex of spilanthes and butterfly lavender to lock in moisture, reduce wrinkles and even out skin texture.
The 100% Hyaluronic Acid serum pearls are ideal: their high-molecular-weight molecules fill and smooth wrinkles and fine lines by forming a film on the skin’s surface, while the low-molecular-weight molecules penetrate deeper for long-lasting hydration.
