As a cosmetic ingredient, Organic Chilean Rosehip Seed Oil is recognised for its properties:

  • A powerful repairer, it improves the appearance of marked skin: numerous studies show that after regular application of this oil, the texture and colour of the skin are improved.

  • This regenerating action, combined with its high antioxidant content, reduces wrinkles and smooths superficial wrinkles.

  • Thanks to its high antioxidant content, Rosehip oil slows down the appearance of premature wrinkles, especially those caused by photoageing.

  • It reduces brown spots, particularly those caused by age and sun exposure, and slows down their appearance.

  • It softens the skin, restoring its tone and giving it a fresh appearance.

Synergies

  • To regenerate the skin and combat wrinkles: essential oils of rosewood, rose, rockrose, etc.

  • For dry skin: essential oils of neroli, jasmine absolute, and vanilla.

  • For after-sun care: essential oils of lavender, Italian helichrysum, sage, and rosemary verbenone.

  • To prevent and treat stretch marks: mandarin essential oil.

  • For skin prone to discomfort: essential oils of niaouli and tea tree, St. John's Wort oil macerate.

In practice

Organic Chilean Rosehip Seed Oil can be used:

  • In combination with other vegetable oils and possibly essential oils to formulate skincare or massage oils.

  • In combination with butters and possibly waxes to formulate lip or body balms.

  • As an oil phase in the composition of creams and lotions for the hands, body and face.

Organic Chilean Rosehip Seed Oil can also be added to a ready-made AZ neutral base at a maximum concentration of 5% to make:

  • An emulsion: with Organic Neutral Vegetable Milk, Organic Neutral Youth Creams, and Organic Refreshing Creams, Organic Neutral Hair Mask Base

  • An aqueous gel: with Organic Aloe Vera Gel

  • A foaming product: with Organic Neutral Cleansing Cream

  • A soap: with Melt & Pour soap bases

At a dosage of between 30 and 95% to make:

  • A micellar oil: with the Concentrated Micellar Base
