Organic Fenugreek Powder can be used in several different ways:
As a paste, mask or poultice: mix with other natural powders, then add hot water until you reach the desired consistency. This is the simplest and most common method of use, suitable for preparing hair masks, plant-based paste shampoos, face masks and poultices. Organic Fenugreek Powder, which is naturally rich in mucilage, creates a smooth, cohesive paste but can sometimes form lumps. Whisk vigorously with a mini whisk to disperse them. Fenugreek powder also blends well with other plant powders. However, when combined with clays, its mucilage can cause the mixture to lose cohesion, resulting in a crumbly texture.
As an aqueous infusion: can be incorporated as a water phase in your hair or skin preparations.
As an oil infusion: can be incorporated as an oil phase into your hair or skin preparations.

Ayurveda, or Ayurvedic Medicine, is a comprehensive sacred healing tradition that has been practised for over 5,000 years in India. It is also a philosophy and a way of life. In Sanskrit, ayur means “life” and veda means “science” or “knowledge”. Originating from the rishis, or great sages of the Himalayas, it is founded on the observation of nature and the five elements—water, earth, fire, air and space (or ether). Ayurveda is based on the concept of the three doshas (vata, pitta and kapha), each composed of two elements. Every individual is born with a unique proportion of these doshas, with one or two typically predominating.
The aim of Ayurvedic Medicine is to live in harmony with your basic constitution, understanding what supports your health, happiness and skin vitality, while also recognising what may disturb your balance. To keep your constitution aligned, you should choose activities, foods and plants that counter the qualities of your predominant doshas, helping to soothe and rebalance them.
Fenugreek, or Methi in Sanskrit, is a herbaceous plant of the Fabaceae family, widely used as a culinary spice and as a traditional medicinal plant in India and North Africa. Fenugreek Seed Powder is known for its many benefits. It has traditionally been recommended as a fortifying and tonic ingredient during convalescence, loss of appetite or fatigue, and is valued by athletes for its energising properties. In traditional Indian use, it also served as a galactogenic agent, reputed to support breast milk production. In phytotherapy, Fenugreek is additionally recognised for its potential to help regulate blood sugar and cholesterol levels.
Rich in mucilage and steroidal saponins, Fenugreek is also an ally in cosmetics. In particular, it is renowned for smoothing and beautifying the hair and stimulating hair growth. On the skin, its anti-ageing effects are useful for combating the signs of premature ageing, and its soothing effects are appreciated on delicate or acne-prone skin.
