Uses beauty

  • As an ingredient in your blends for spraying onto the skin of your face and neck after cleansing. Then apply your skincare cream or oil immediately to damp skin.

  • Use with active ingredients and other natural (water-soluble) ingredients to make skin lotions. This type of lotion can be stored in the refrigerator, like pure hydrosol. To keep at room temperature, you need to add a preservative, such as Cosgard (transfer the hydrosol to a bowl to add the preservative).

  • You can also add essential oils to your mixture if you wish, but you will need to add a dispersant (Solubol or Disper) as essential oils are not soluble in the aqueous phase. As above, you'll need to add a preservative to keep the lotion at room temperature.

  • Incorporated in the aqueous phase of your homemade cosmetic formulas, it is ideal for making:

    • Deodorant creams, gels and lotions

    • Soothing eye care products

    • Lotions for delicate skin

Synergies

  • Acne-prone skin: tea tree, yarrow and lavender hydrosols, tea tree, manuka, fragonia and palmarosa essential oils, Algo'Zinc cosmetic active ingredients, Bacti-Pur, propolis extract, etc.

  • Sensitive skin: lavender, German chamomile and Roman chamomile hydrosols, burdock extract, concentrated dragon's blood extract, bisabolol, organic skin repair active ingredient, Fucocert active ingredient, allantoin, calendula macerated oil, etc.

  • Skin prone to itching: peppermint, chamomile hydrosols, etc.

  • To soothe the eyes: cornflower, German chamomile hydrosols, etc.

  • Excessive perspiration: alum stone, witch hazel hydrosols, common sage, palmarosa essential oils, clary sage, Bacti-Pur cosmetic active ingredient, etc.
