Uses beauty

• As an ingredient in your blends for spraying onto the skin of your face and neck after cleansing. Then apply your skincare cream or oil immediately to damp skin.

• Incorporated as an aqueous phase in your homemade cosmetic formulas, it is ideal for making:

  • A treatment mask for blonde hair

  • A detangling conditioner

  • Light and shine shampoo

  • A soothing aftersun lotion or to relieve skin discomfort

  • Make-up remover

  • Aromatic bath mix

  • A lotion to use on a compress to ease eye discomfort

Synergies

• For skin prone to discomfort: calendula and aloe vera macerated oils, yarrow and wild lavender hydrosols, calendula CO₂ extract, allantoin, bisabolol, etc.

• For revitalising effects: tepezcohuite and centella powders, fine lavender, myrrh and Italian helichrysum essential oils, rose hip carrier oil, etc.

• To cleanse and soothe the eyes: cornflower, rose and orange blossom hydrosols, etc.

• For blonde and light brown hair: blonde and light brown henna, turmeric powder, etc.

Uses Well-being

• As an ingredient in your solar plexus massage blends.

• It can also be used as an ingredient in room mists or to replace water in a mister.

Synergies

• For soothing effects: essential oils of blue tansy, German chamomile, yarrow, khella, calendula macerated oil, etc.

Concentration

To make 1 litre of hydrosol, you need 1 kilo of flowers, known as the 1:1 ratio. This minimum extraction ratio, which is something we strictly follow at Aroma-Zone, guarantees an intense fragrance, better conservation and, above all, a high concentration of aromatic molecules in the hydrosol, a proof of its quality.

Hydrosols are sensitive to pollution. As our Aroma-Zone hydrosols are fresh, pure products with no preservatives, we strongly recommend that you store them in the refrigerator and use them within 6 months of opening. When using them, make sure your hands are always clean and that you disinfect all utensils and bottles that come into contact with the hydrosols when preparing your homemade cosmetics. If you notice a change in appearance or smell, stop using the hydrosol.
