Our Retinal is 100% natural and obtained through biotechnology. Once converted into retinoic acid within skin cells, it works to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, stimulate cell renewal and differentiation, and protect and support the collagen and elastin fibres that maintain skin structure and firmness.

With powerful antioxidant properties, Retinal combats oxidative stress caused by UV exposure, pollution, and tobacco. Clarifying and brightening, it helps reduce hyperpigmentation spots. Thanks to its antibacterial action, it also limits the spread of bacteria such as Propionibacterium acnes, which are responsible for inflammation and acne breakouts.

Retinal has additionally been shown to improve the appearance of rosacea-prone skin by reducing redness. In synergy with Mastic Pistachio Extract, it provides this serum with both anti-ageing and anti-blemish efficacy.

Mastic Tree Extract

Derived from the resin of the Mastic Tree (Pistacia lentiscus), traditionally cultivated on the Greek island of Chios, this extract helps boost the skin’s natural levels of retinoic acid by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for its breakdown. As a result, retinoic acid can more effectively deliver its anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle benefits, while also targeting blemishes, dark spots, and refining skin texture.

In synergy with Retinal, it enhances the serum’s dual anti-ageing and anti-blemish efficacy.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid is a powerful moisturising, plumping and anti-ageing active ingredient, 100% natural and produced by fermentation of wheat. It gives this serum a very soft, slightly jelly-like texture , while adding its own properties.
