A rich, nourishing oil, copra oil is very useful for saponification because it gives soap plenty of lather due to its high lauric acid content.

Organic shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii oil*)

High in unsaponifiables, this butter is ideal for soaps. In fact, its unsaponified compounds will enrich the soap with their nourishing, emollient and antioxidant properties. Shea butter gives soaps arich, creamy feel.

Organic Rice Bran Oil (Oryza sativa oil*)

This oil contains gamma-oryzanol, vitamin E, phytosterols and ferulic acid, all powerful antioxidants. An anti-ageing ingredient, it is known to nourish and protect the skin from external aggressions.

Organic Sesame oil (Sesamum indicum seed oil*)

A major oil in Ayurvedic skincare, Sesame oil is known for its nourishing, softening and antioxidant properties, thanks to its high levels of tocopherols, sesamolin and lecithin. We have chosen to source this oil from Mali, through a fair trade network.

Manjishta powder (Rubia cordifolia root powder*)

Also known as Indian madder, this plant originating in India is known in Ayurveda as a powerful depurative and purifier. Astringent and toning, it is traditionally used to combat skin ageing, even out skin tone, regenerate, soothe and repair the skin. Rich in plant pigments (alizarin, purpurin, galliorin), it is also a magnificent pink-purple colouring agent, which gives this soap its natural colour.

This soap is scented with a blend of essential oils developed by Aroma-Zone, with powerful, sensual and spicy oriental notes of Tamala Cinnamon, Sacred Basil and Patchouli, softened by the floral scent of Rose Geranium and the sweetness of Orange. A highly successful and original fragrance that stimulates the senses and the spirit, warming and restoring self-confidence. Geranium and Holy Basil essential oils are also known for their powerful regenerating properties, while Patchouli and Cinnamon are purifying, helping to combat skin imperfections.
