Natural and organic
100% natural, TurmiPure Gold® organic consists of an extract of organic turmeric rhizomes with a 95% concentration of curcuminoids. Micro-encapsulated in a 100% plant-based mix of quillaja saponaria extract (Panama wood), gum acacia and sunflower oil, for optimum bioavailability.

Plants are extracted sustainably: turmeric is extracted with plant-derived ethanol, and Panama wood is extracted with water. No synthetic solvents are used in the process.
Bioavailability and efficacy
Encapsulation in a plant matrix based on quillaja saponaria (Panama wood) extract, gum acacia and sunflower oil makes the curcuminoids bioavailable. This patented blend acts as a 'vehicle' for these precious active ingredients, including curcumin, to pass into the bloodstream and reach the various target organs and tissues in an active form.
This patented technology makes curcumin, a lipophilic molecule (soluble in oil), dispersible in water. This means it is easily absorbed by the body.
Comparative clinical studies with other high-absorption turmeric extracts have shown that TurmiPure Gold® is the extract with the best bioavailability. It lacks synthetic surfactants and is most effective in lower doses.
A 300mg capsule of TurmiPure Gold® delivers 95% curcuminoids and piperine. It provides 1.5 times more curcuminoids into the bloodstream than 1.5g of standard Turmeric extract, and 2.8 times more than 1g of phospholipid-based extract.
Safety
No added piperine or black pepper extract. These are often used to improve the bioavailability of curcumin in standard turmeric extracts, but have little effect on actual bioavailability. Turmeric (Curcuma longa), also known as Indian Saffron, is a rhizome plant in the Zingiberaceae family. Its rhizomes, the fleshy parts of its roots, resemble those of its cousin, ginger, and are distinguished by their striking orange colour. Turmeric rhizomes are used in cooking either fresh or dried and ground to obtain organic turmeric powder, which gives curry its intense yellow colour.
An essential part of the Indian Ayurvedic tradition, turmeric is widely recognised both for its uses in cooking and for its well-being benefits. Many of the properties attributed to turmeric are linked to a family of active ingredients it contains in large quantities: Curcuminoids. These include the famous Curcumin, which is responsible for turmeric's bright yellow colour. Widely renowned for its powerful soothing and antioxidant properties, turmeric has been the subject of numerous scientific studies. It is touted to increase joint flexibility, as well as support healthy liver function, normal lipid and glucose metabolism, and cognitive well-being, particularly in the ageing process. The major disadvantage of turmeric is that it is hard for the body to absorb and is rapidly eliminated. This means that very high doses of turmeric would have to be consumed to obtain a significant effect. This is not ideal either, as turmeric can be irritating in high doses. Black pepper or piperine is often added to increase the bioavailability of curcumin. However, studies show that this addition has a limited effect and can cause digestive problems. Piperine (extracted from black pepper) is also controversial because it increases intestinal permeability. This can exacerbate food intolerances and promote the absorption of undesirable compounds through the digestive tract. Our organic curcumin avoids these drawbacks.
