We offer a rare and miraculous plant powder from South America. Tépezcohuite powder, a Mexican national treasure, has exceptional regenerative properties that have been known since the time of the Mayans. This product is therefore one of our exceptional products.
Tépezcohuite, Mexico's miracle tree
Tépezcohuite, whose Latin name is Mimosa tenuiflora, is a thorny tree found in certain areas of northern South America, from northern Brazil to southern Mexico. Crushed Tépezcohuite bark was used by Mayan healers since the 10th century for its magical effect in relieving and treating skin lesions and burns and healing wounds without leaving marks. Still used today in Mexico, and literally meaning "skin tree" in the Mexican dialect, it is particularly effective for healing burns. Following various disasters that affected the region, notably the explosion of a gas plant in Mexico City in 1984 and the earthquakes of 1985, Tepezcohuite powder was used successfully to compensate for the shortage of medicines to treat severe burns. The spectacular results obtained attracted the attention of the scientific community to the benefits of such use. Furthermore, its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, as well as its ability to regenerate the epidermis, have earned it the nickname "miracle plant," and it has been classified as part of Mexico's national heritage.
A powder rich in active ingredients with exceptional healing properties
Tépezcohuite bark is extremely rich in tannins, flavonoids, and saponosides. Tannins, which are polyphenols, are water-soluble and give this powder its red color.
Tannins were once used to "tan" leather, i.e., to make it rot-proof. These compounds therefore have very strong antibacterial and antifungal properties. They also increase the skin's impermeability and firmness. As astringents, they tighten pores and can therefore be used on oily and acne-prone skin, as well as to combat perspiration. Thanks to their ability to capture free radicals, these components are also antioxidants. By blocking the action of certain enzymes responsible for skin aging, tannins actively help combat various aggressions (stress, UV rays, etc.). and are useful in anti-aging skincare. This powder also contains flavonoids, pigments responsible for the color of plants, which have veinotonic properties. This has the effect of stimulating venous and capillary circulation andimproving intracellular exchanges, the healing process is then improved. With powerful anti-free radical action, they inhibit the formation of free radicals that attack collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, thereby slowing down the skin aging process. Tepezcohuite powder also contains saponosides, which are beneficial cell regenerators. The combined action of these different compounds makes this bark powder a powerful healing agent. Applied to the skin, this powder has very strong regenerative properties and can be used to treat scars, stretch marks, etc. Tepezcohuite is therefore used in cosmetic preparations designed to regenerate skin tissue (burns, cracks, etc.) or tighten pores.

A powerful analgesic responsible for the immediate relief of burns
Other bacteriostatic and fungicidal compounds that allow for the cleansing and healing of skin lesions.
sanitization and healing of skin lesions
Amino acids (leucine, valine, tyrosine, arginine, and lysine) that promote healthy skin hydration.
This powder also contains several trace elements essential for the proper development of various biochemical processes within cells to achieve balanced, healthy-looking skin, including magnesium, iron, copper, zinc, and manganese. Thanks to its many highly beneficial active compounds, this powder has some of the most spectacular regenerative and repairing properties for the epidermis known in the plant world.
