Ayurveda, or Ayurvedic medicine, is a comprehensive sacred therapeutic science that has been used in India for over 5,000 years. It is also a philosophy and a way of life. In Sanskrit, "ayur" means "life" and "veda" means "science or knowledge" . Discovered by the Rishis or great sages of the Himalayas through observation of nature and the 5 elements (Water, Earth, Fire, Air, Space or Ether), it is based on the concept of the 3 doshas**(Vâta, Pitta and Kapha**), each made up of 2 elements. Each individual is born with their own proportion of each dosha, often with one or two doshas predominating.
Theaim of Ayurveda is to live in harmony with your basic constitution, to know what helps you to stay healthy, happy and have beautiful skin, but also to learn to spot anything that makes you ill or unhappy. To ensure that your constitution is in balance, you need to choose activities, foods or plants that are the opposite of the characteristics of your predominant doshas and therefore soothe these predominant doshas.
According to the principles of Ayurveda, Ashwagandha is known to soothe Vâta and Kapha and increase Pitta and Âma when used in excess. Ashwagandha, from its Sanskrit name, sometimes called Indian Ginseng in French, belongs to the Solanaceae family. From its Sanskrit name, which can be translatedas "which has the strength of a horse", this plant is said to confer "the sexual energy and vitality of a horse". It is the roots that are used in India, this plant having an important place in Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia, like Ginseng in Chinese medicine. This root is reputed to beone of the body's best regenerators for Vâta-type constitutions and is traditionally used to boost the immune system and restore strength in cases of fatigue, convalescence, lack of sleep, overwork, weakness, etc. Its antioxidant properties also make this powder an ideal ingredient in your anti-ageing skin care products. It has also long been used to promote tissue healing in the case of wounds, injuries, damaged skin, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions
I took the powder because there were no more capsules. It's more difficult to use but an effective product
I've been using it for a short time, it seems good, to be re-evaluated. Aggressive smell.
Very good, thank you
I can't do without it anymore. I used to suffer from insomnia at the drop of a hat, but now I'm sleeping soundly and dreaming again. I make my own capsules, which is much more economical. I take two at bedtime. And I feel much more resilient to stress.
I'm a fan; my sleep is less disturbed.
