Uses beauty

• Use it as a facial mist, sprayed onto the skin of the face and neck after cleansing. Apply your cream or beauty oil immediately afterwards, while the skin is still slightly damp

• You can also incorporate it as the aqueous phase in your homemade cosmetic formulas. It is ideal for creating:

  • A purifying lotion for problem skin

  • A slimming gel or lotion

  • A shampoo for oily hair

  • A tonic for foot baths

  • A revitalising mist or bust treatment

  • A purifying mask

Synergies

• For a slimming, draining and firming treatment: Lemon, Sea Fennel, Douglas Fir, and Verbena essential oils, alongside hydrosols and other complementary botanicals

• For purifying routines: Propolis, Burdock Root powder, Jupiter Beard CO₂ extract, Tea Tree hydrosol, and other clarifying ingredients

• For mattifying treatments: Arrowroot, Bamboo Sap, Alum powder, Rosemary Verbenone, Witch Hazel and Lavender hydrosols, and other shine-reducing actives

Concentration

To make 1 litre of hydrosol, you need 1 kilo of twigs, known as the 1:1 ratio. This minimum extraction ratio, which is something we strictly follow at Aroma-Zone, guarantees an intense fragrance, better conservation and, above all, a high concentration of aromatic molecules in the hydrosol, a proof of its quality.

Hydrosols are sensitive to pollution. As our Aroma-Zone hydrosols are fresh, pure products with no preservatives, we strongly recommend that you store them in the refrigerator and use them within 6 months of opening. When using them, make sure your hands are always clean and that you disinfect all utensils and bottles that come into contact with the hydrosols when preparing your homemade cosmetics. If you notice a change in appearance or smell, stop using the hydrosol.
