An evergreen shrub renowned for its fragrant blooms, Provençal lavender thrives at altitudes above 1,000 metres on the sun-drenched slopes of Provence. The term “fine lavender” refers specifically to this high-altitude variety, prized for its exceptional quality. From June onwards, the fields shimmer in beautiful shades of blue and violet, creating the iconic Provençal landscape. This variety produces a lavender of remarkable olfactory finesse, distinct from ordinary lavender.
