Macadamia integrifolia, or Queensland nut, is a slow-growing tree native to the East of Australia. The Australian Aboriginal people, who referred to the nuts as "gyndl" or "jindilli" , traded these protein-rich nuts with the early white settlers of the East Australian coast, who exported them around the world. Today, macadamia is naturalised in many countries, including Kenya, Hawaii, and South Africa, where it is grown for its sweet and oily nut, consumed raw or roasted, as well as for its high-quality wood used in cabinetmaking.
Rich in oleic and palmitoleic acids, cell protectors, this gentle oil is also nourishing, softening, and soothing. It is traditionally used to treat sensitive skin, to create massage oils for stretch marks and scars, as well as in hair and hand care (cracks, chapping). Macadamia oil is also useful for formulating massage oils for skin prone to redness.

Important notes (Aroma-Zone): it's not easy to make a stable emulsion (cream, lotion) using only a wax. Waxes have a low emulsifying power, so we recommend adding an emulsifier. In addition, we recommend adding a preservative to ensure that this blend is preserved.
