Our tips tailored to the shape of your eyes
Almond eyes
With their balanced shape, two liner options are available: natural or a more intense cat-eye look.
Tips:
Emphasize their shape with a line of eyeliner that naturally follows the curve of the eye, without stretching it too much for a more natural result.
For a more graphic look, extend the line to accentuate the cat-eye effect.
Round eyes
If you want to slightly lengthen your eyes, the eyeliner can be applied in a stretched line.
Tips:
Avoid thick pencil lines along the lower lash line, as these can accentuate the roundness.
Apply the liner starting very thinly from the center of the eye and then thicken it by stretching it outwards. The goal is to apply makeup to the outer third to lengthen the eye.
Downturned or droopy eyes
With this shape, the outer corners of the eyes slope slightly downward. It is often a good idea to "lift" the eyes optically.
Tips:
Close-set eyes
When the eyes are closer together, you can try to create a spacing effect.
Tips:
Start your line slightly after the inner corner of the eye, about one-third or one-quarter of the way across the eyelid. This prevents the eyes from looking closed and accentuating the closeness between them.
Gradually thicken the line as you move outwards to draw attention to the temples and create an impression of openness.
Finish with a slight upward flick, which helps to visually lengthen the eyes.
Monolid eyes
Monolid eyes (without a pronounced crease) can sometimes hide a classic eyeliner line when the eye is open. The idea is therefore to create definition without overloading the eyelid.
Tips:
Start with tightlining (applying eyeliner to the upper waterline) to discreetly intensify the lash line without taking up space on the mobile eyelid.
If you want a visible line, draw a thin line along the upper lashes, thickening it very slightly at the outer corner.
Opt for a straight line or a mini flick that curves outwards (without lifting it too much) to enlarge the eyes without creating a "break" with the natural shape of the eyelid.
