What are the benefits of the Seasonal Comfort dietary supplement?

• Supports the body’s natural defences thanks to nettle extract.

Nettle naturally helps support the body’s defences. Several studies suggest that extracts of stinging nettle leaves may help modulate the immune response (1), (2), (3). Its gentle extraction process also helps preserve the integrity of the plant’s naturally occurring compounds.

• Highly bioavailable quercetin with Quercefit®.

Quercefit® is a plant-based form of quercetin optimised for better absorption by the body. Its efficacy has been documented in several clinical studies. A 2022 publication, in particular, reported encouraging results in reducing discomfort associated with periods of pollen sensitivity (4).

• Nigellin® Onyx, a premium black cumin extract.

Also known as black seed cumin, black cumin has traditionally been used to support general wellbeing, particularly during periods of seasonal sensitivity. Its properties are largely attributed to thymoquinone, its main active compound, which has been extensively studied for its antioxidant properties and its role in supporting immune response and respiratory comfort (5), (6). Nigellin® Onyx extract is standardised for thymoquinone, ensuring consistent active ingredient content and optimal quality.

When should you take the Seasonal Comfort dietary supplement?

This dietary supplement can be used:

• During periods of seasonal change, when the body may be under greater strain and natural defences can be challenged, particularly in spring or late summer.

• When daily environments are more demanding, such as poorly ventilated indoor spaces or exposure to dry or polluted air, to help support the body day to day.

• As part of a lifestyle exposed to changing environmental factors, particularly within the home, including bedding, textiles and indoor air quality.

This Seasonal Comfort dietary supplement combines 3 ingredients selected for their quality and effectiveness:

• A nettle extract sourced from France, obtained through water-based extraction without chemical solvents, and standardised in polyphenols. The daily dose of 500 mg provides the plant equivalent of 2000 mg of nettle.

• Quercefit® quercetin, combining quercetin derived from the Sophora japonica L. plant with sunflower lecithin to improve its stability and, above all, its bioavailability (with absorption up to 20 times higher than that of non-formulated quercetin (7)). A major limitation of standard quercetin is its low oral bioavailability.

• Nigellin®, a premium black cumin extract designed to preserve the richness of its active compounds while delivering high purity and concentration, particularly in thymoquinone. This ingredient has been the subject of clinical studies demonstrating numerous benefits for general and metabolic wellbeing.
