Here's a curious factworth knowing... There is a lot of confusion surrounding the word sapote. The "real" sapote is the fruit of the Pouteria sapota tree, which grows only in Central America and the Caribbean. This bright orange fruit should not be confused with the sapodilla (fruit of the Manilkara zapota), which is much smaller and widely introduced in southern Asia. The sapote, which produces the carrier oil, is a large, round or oval fruit measuring around 15 cm, and which can weigh up to 2 kg.
Its orange-pink flesh contains 1 to 4 seeds that are high in oil with a mild, bitter almond scent. Traditionally used in Santo Domingo to stimulate hair growth, sapote carrier oil is a choice ingredient for dry, curly or Afro hair care products. It is also known for soothing even the most sensitive scalps . Its subtle almond fragrance is a perfect addition to your hair care products and balms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Great for dry, curly hair
Nothing to report, perfect product
Too early for results, but having used it before, it gives me thicker, stronger hair despite my fine hair. I use it in combination with chebe and rosemary oil for my oil treatment.
Great oil to mix with AZ's hair mask. Revives curly and frizzy hair. Don't use too much as it leaves a slightly greasy film.
