Concentration
To make 1 litre of hydrosol, you need 1 kilo of flowers, known as the 1:1 ratio. This minimum extraction ratio, which we impose on ourselves, guarantees an intense fragrance, prolonged life and, above all, a high concentration of aromatic molecules in the hydrosol, a guarantee of its quality.

A sub-shrub of the Lamiaceae family with pretty grey-green leaves and violet-blue flowers, common sage is often found as an ornamental plant or as a condiment in gardens. It is a sacred plant that has been considered a panacea since ancient times, and its name comes from the Latin "salvare" meaning "to save" or "to heal".
For centuries, it has been attributed with a host of virtues: digestive, astringent, healing, fortifying, purifying, anti-depressant… It is even said to chase away evil spirits and destructive energies.
Its remarkable properties have inspired a number of adages that illustrate its usefulness, including "those who want to live forever must eat sage in May", and the Provençal saying "qu'a de sauvi din soun jardin a pas besoin de médecin" ("those who have sage in their garden don't need a doctor")!
The sage hydrosol we are offering you is a safe alternative to essential oil, which is only available in pharmacies.
Traditionally, it has been used internally to regulate the****nervous system, moderating excessive appetite and regulating perspiration and hot flushes. As a cosmetic ingredient, common sage hydrosol is perfectly suited to restoring vitality to mature, tired skin and balancing sebum secretions in oily skin.
It will also work wonders in your 'home' preparations for dark hair, giving it strength and shine. A must-have!

Nothing to report
absence of the typical smell of Sage after opening the bottle, nor even any smell!? worse! the liquid became opaque after a short time, when it should be clear. the bottle is still 3/4 full, has been used and stored correctly, like my other hydrosols. by the way I had the same problem with Clary Sage! the customer service, which used to be very responsive, did not contact me as promised and even seemed to make fun of me when I called! It's pitiful!
