A synergy of beneficial plants

Peppermint

Its leaves are highly aromatic and powerful, with a minty, spicy, slightly pungent taste, like pepper. As an infusion, Peppermint is renowned for its digestive properties. Peppermint's powerful flavour brings a fresh, invigorating taste to Mint Digestive tea.

Spearmint

Spearmint or sweet mint refers to the Mentha spicata species. Its leaves are widely used in cooking, as a culinary condiment or for various refreshing drinks, but are also traditionally used as an infusion to aid digestion.

Coriander

Cultivated for its aromatic leaves, which are popular in Mediterranean cuisine, and for its fruit, which can be used whole or in powder form, Coriander has many benefits for the digestive system.

Fennel

Fennel seeds are known for their digestive and carminative properties. They are used to reduce bloating. Their slightly aniseed flavour adds a discreetly refreshing, fruity touch to Mint Digestive tea.

Licorice

Originally from Asia, Licorice is very popular in traditional Chinese medicine. Its root helps to maintain the normal functioning of the digestive system and provides a mild, slightly sweet flavour.

Ginger

This bewitchingly fragrant rhizome is a must in herbal medicine. Among its many benefits, Ginger is highly effective in soothing sensitive stomachs. From as little as 2 cups a day, after your heaviest meals, an infusion of Ginger root will reduce feelings of digestive discomfort.

Buckwheat Sobacha

Roasted buckwheat seed, also known as Kasha, is very popular in Asian culture for making Sobacha, or buckwheat tea. Sobacha is a drink reputed to promote general well-being and digestion. Buckwheat seed has a distinctive, nutty flavour that adds sweetness and comfort to Mint Digestive tea.
