Organic Lemon Hydrosol

• It can be used as an ingredient in your formulations for spraying on the skin of your face and neck after cleansing. Then apply your cream or treatment oil immediately onto damp skin.

• Incorporated in the aqueous phase of your homemade cosmetic formulas, it is ideal for creating:

  • Facial fluids for problem skin

  • Manicure treatments for brittle or discoloured nails

  • Lemon-flavoured whitening toothpastes

  • Refreshing vitamin gels for the face

  • Vitamin-rich fruity mists for household laundry

Synergies

• For oily skin: Cypress and Rosemary hydrosols, Propolis extract, Burdock root powder, Jupiter’s Beard CO₂ extract, Arrowroot, Bamboo sap, Alum powder, etc.

• For spot treatment: Celery essential oil, Lily macerated oil, etc.

• For a radiant complexion: Carrot hydrosol; Apricot, Buriti and Sea Buckthorn carrier oils, etc.

Production process

Sourced from the heart of the fruit, it is made by distilling organic lemons and organic lemon essential oil in high-quality water.

Organoleptic properties

• Appearance: clear to opalescent liquid, sometimes cloudy due to the essential oil content

• Colour: colourless

• Odour: of freshly squeezed lemon

• Taste: refreshing, characteristic of squeezed lemons but without the acidity!

Hydrosols are sensitive to pollution. As our Aroma-Zone hydrosols are fresh, pure products with no preservatives, we strongly recommend that you store them in the refrigerator and use them within 6 months of opening. When using them, make sure your hands are always clean and that you disinfect all utensils and bottles that come into contact with the hydrosols when preparing your homemade cosmetics. If you notice a change in appearance or smell, stop using the hydrosol.
