Why consume guarana?
Naturally rich in caffeine, with stimulating properties, guarana provides a boost to the body and helps increase alertness and concentration.
As one of the most important plant sources of caffeine, guarana is recognised for its energising and invigorating effects on both a physical and intellectual level.
Invigorating, when taken in the morning it helps wake you up and prepare for a busy day. It also helps support athletes before and during intense exercise.
It complements slimming treatments.
In addition to its high caffeine content, guarana also contains theophylline, theobromine, guanine, and xanthine, which complement the effects of caffeine, as well as tannins with antioxidant properties.
Caffeine contributes to increased alertness (for products containing at least 75 mg of caffeine per serving).

Guarana (Paullinia cupana), also known as Waraná by the Satéré Mawé Indians of Brazil, is a shrub native to the Amazon belonging to the Sapindaceae family. It grows as vines that can reach over 10 metres in height, often in relatively warm and humid areas. Its fruits, gathered in clusters, are small red pods that contain two or three brown seeds.
When ripe, they bear a resemblance to the human eye, which has greatly contributed to local legends.
It is the richness of active molecules that has earned Guarana its status as a superfood. It is naturally rich in guaranine, another name for caffeine; it is even more concentrated in caffeine than coffee itself! Traditionally, it was used by locals as an appetite suppressant, as well as for its energising properties. Guaranine is known for its ability to stimulate the metabolism and enhance alertness and attention.
This caffeine, combined with other molecules such as theobromine and theophylline, is valued for its weight loss benefits within the framework of a suitable diet.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Close the sachet tightly after opening.
Precautions
Contains caffeine (3.5 g/100 g).
Not recommended for children and pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Not recommended for individuals sensitive to caffeine or suffering from cardiovascular disorders.
Guarana consumption is not advised for individuals who are insomniac, anxious, or suffering from gastric or duodenal ulcers, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular issues.
Guarana has diuretic effects and should not be combined with other medications or substances that have the same effects to avoid amplifying them. We recommend drinking plenty of water to compensate for fluid loss.
Guarana is a stimulant and should not be combined with other substances that have stimulating effects (caffeine, ephedrine, etc.), as this could be harmful to the body and lead to anxiety, insomnia, and exhaustion.
Due to its high caffeine content, guarana may delay sleep onset, so it is advisable to take it in the early part of the day.

Also known as "superfoods", superfoods are natural foods (fruit, seeds, plants, seaweed, etc.) recognised for their exceptional properties and composition: rich in nutrients, proteins, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants… in concentrations that are generally higher than those of other foods. Their remarkable nutritional compositions are beneficial as part of a balanced, healthy diet.

I felt a boost of energy at first, but not so much over time
Very few days consumed, it really has a special taste
Neutral taste so it's good.
I don't like the "earthy" taste, nor the fact that guarana remains at the bottom of the glass, undissolved even in a hot drink. As for its benefits, I haven't used it long enough to tell.
