Cotton Flower Natural Fragrance

Used as an ingredient in your cosmetic preparations:

• Emulsions (creams, lotions)

• Foaming products (facial cleansing foam, shower foam)

This fragrance is not suitable for lip care products.

Additional information

• The Cotton Flower fragrance is particularly suited for use in emulsions.

• It will add a delicate floral note to your shower products, but will generally make these formulas very fluid. Consider using a “foamer” bottle for shower foams or facial cleansing foams.

• This fragrance also works very well in “Melt and Pour” soaps, even if it is mainly the “bamboo” base note – slightly woody and long-lasting – accompanied by a few sweet notes that remains over time.

• It can be used in oily bases (oils and balms), but the scent tends to last less well on these supports.

• This cosmetic fragrance is not suitable for use in electric diffusers, but you can use it in electric misters.

This is a “complete” fragrance, ideal to be used as the only scent in your cosmetics. However, you can also enjoy modulating it. For example, try enhancing the floral note by pairing it with a jasmine absolute. Pair it with cottonseed vegetable oil for a “softness” theme.

I add it to an AZ neutral base

The Cotton Flower fragrance can be incorporated into the following AZ neutral bases:

• Youth Cream, Thirst-Quenching Cream, Neutral Plant Milk, All-in-One Cream and Aloe Vera Gel, up to 1%

• Neutral Cleansing Cream, up to 2%

• Neutral Cleansing Base and Neutral Shampoo Base, up to 0.5%

• Hair Mask Base, up to 2%

• Neutral Massage Oil, up to 2%

• Precious Face Oil, up to 1%

• Melt & Pour Soap Bases, up to 2%

• Makeup Powder Base, up to 0.5%

Dosages:

• In face creams: 0.3 to 2%

• In body care products (emulsions, oils, and balms): 0.3 to 3%

• In foaming products: 0.5 to 4% ( fluid products to be packaged in a "foaming" bottle)

• In alcohol-based perfumes: 2 to 10%

Add the fragrance at the end of preparation, mixing well.

Storage

Store in a tightly sealed container, protected from air and light, at a temperature below 25°C.

Precautions

• DO NOT SWALLOW – Cosmetic fragrance for external use only.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid contact with eyes. Do not apply pure to the skin. Follow the recommended dosages.

• Fragrance not suitable for use on the lips.

• Certain natural compounds contained in this fragrance may present a risk of allergy in some sensitive individuals when the fragrance is incorporated into a cosmetic preparation (according to the 7th Amendment of the European Cosmetic Directive (2003/15/EC)): linalool, limonene, geraniol, citronellol, eugenol, benzyl alcohol, citral.

• As a general rule, always perform a patch test of your preparation in the crease of the elbow at least 48 hours before use.

• Dangerous. Follow the precautions for use.

• Flammable liquid and vapours. May cause a skin allergy. Causes serious eye irritation. Causes skin irritation (risks related to the product in its pure form). Toxic to aquatic organisms, with long-lasting effects (in case of massive release of the product into a watercourse).
