This dye adds reddish/copper highlights to chestnut hair. Apply evenly to the entire head of hair, cover with a Waterproof Cotton Hair Cap and leave on for 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the intensity you want. Rinse hair thoroughly with clean water. Drying your hair with a hairdryer can accentuate the highlights even more. 100% natural colour!

Tip: to avoid staining the skin on your face when applying colour, apply a little shea butter at the hairline, around the face and on the neck.

I love the result! I'm a fairly dull ash blonde and this coloring sounds like a pretty coppery brown! On the other hand, does anyone have a magic ingredient to cover the smell a little, which still remains for a few days?

Made 2 times First recipe made and it did nothing on my white hair (1h30 leave-on). Redone the next day with walnut husk and leave-on for 2h30 same result. On the other hand, it works very well on bleached hair! Leaves hair soft. For me it is not in the coloring category or the recipe and the application method are not complete.

Reply to nice Nice, you should try the garnet brown henna to cover your white hair, it gives burgundy highlights. I am brunette with some white hair, and I put it on without mixing. It works. On the other hand, the smell is really not great!

How long did the color last? Hello, For those who tested the recipe, how long did the color last before you did it again? Thanks in advance!

Adopted I love the smell without HE (I must be one of the few people to like it). I have straight and fine hair, between dark blond and light brown (so always dull!!), thanks to this mixture my hair is shiny, with red highlights, and gets greasy less quickly. It's a little difficult to put on at first but it's a knack to get the hang of. It covers white hair too. I leave it on for 2 hours but next time I'll try longer. I add detangler while rinsing to remove the cardboard effect and massage well while shampooing. For me, we don't use more water for rinsing than when we do a homemade dye. The color duration will depend on the hair but for me it's about 3 weeks.
