Instructions for use

• Insert the batteries into the battery compartment by sliding the compartment cover onto the back of the scale; the direction of battery insertion is indicated on the inside of the compartment. Close the cover.

• Remove the transparent protective cover from the scale.

• Please note that this scale has a protective plate on the stainless steel weighing pan. If the weighing pan cover is not removed, your measurements will not be stabilised.

• Place the scale on a flat, clean, dry surface, away from vibrations.

• Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the scale. You can start weighing when the display shows 0.0.

• The display will show the unit of measurement being used: g, oz, ct, gn or tl. To change the unit of measurement, press the "M" key until the desired unit is displayed.

• When weighing in a container: switch on the scale, place the container in the centre of the weighing pan and press the T (tare) button to reset the counter to zero. Then weigh your ingredients by transferring them into the container.

• Wait for the display to stabilise and read the weight.

• The scale will automatically switch off after three minutes of inactivity.

• If the display shows "LO" and then goes out, change the batteries.

Cleaning

• Clean the weighing pan and the scale case with a soft, clean cloth.

• Be careful and do not submerge the entire scale in water, as this will damage the electrical circuits.
