The Skin Repair active ingredient can be added to a ready-to-use AZ Neutral Base to make:
An emulsion: with the organic Neutral Plant Milk, the organic Neutral Age-Defying and Moisturising Creams, the organic Neutral Hair Mask Base
A water-based gel: with the organic aloe vera gel
A mask: with the Peel-Off Mask
A foaming product: with the Organic Neutral Cleansing Base, the Organic Neutral Shampoo Base, the Organic Neutral Cleansing Cream Base
Incorporate the Skin Repair active ingredient into one of the above-mentioned AZ Neutral Bases to make an emulsion, gel or foaming product
Stage 1
Pour your product into a cosmetic preparation bowl or other suitable container.
Step 2
Add the desired quantity of Skin Repair active ingredient (see table of typical dosages above and within the limit of the maximum percentage of 2% for incorporating into AZ's Neutral Base).
Step 3
Shake to mix well.
Step 4
Pour the product into its container, using a pipette if necessary.

Wild acanthus or onopordon, also known as "acanthus thistle" or "donkey grass", is a biennial plant that grows in abundance on pathsides and overgrown areas.
Its broad, winged stems are covered in thorns and its large, woolly flower heads open to produce purple flowers in summer. This plant has many traditional uses, both medicinal and food.
The roots, which stimulate the appetite and support digestion, can be used in decoctions, and the juice of the leaves is renowned for its restorative powers for the skin. The flower heads can be eaten a bit like artichokes, and the roots and ribs are also edible.
The plants used for the production of this active extract are grown in Auvergne and are certified organic. Harvesting takes place at the beginning of summer, when the flowers are in bud but not yet in bloom. The extraction process allows the extraction of a wide range of active ingredients from this plant:
Sugars, mainly mono- and diosides (concentration in the active ingredient: 0.7 to 3.5 g/l), with moisturising and softening
flavonoids with antioxidant
sesquiterpene lactones, including costunolide (titrated content in the extract: 50 to 550 mg/l), compounds with numerous biological properties
