Chlorella (Chlorella vulgaris) is a single-celled algae that lives in freshwater, gradually accumulating to form "chlorella". Discovered in the 19th century by a Dutch scientist, it is fascinating thanks to its ability to multiply tenfold and its rich nutritional content. Chlorella is particularly high in protein, essential fatty acids and vitamins.
This is why it is highly valued, especially by millions of Japanese people who consume it regularly, if not daily. During World War I, Chlorella was an effective source of protein that met the nutritional needs of soldiers. The Japanese government even decided to declare the green algae an 'ingredient of national interest'. Traditionally used to detoxify the body, Chlorella is believed to have the ability to capture heavy metals present in our body and facilitate their natural elimination. It is also credited with the ability to accelerate metabolism, an interesting property in the fight against weight gain.

Too disgusting to consume. It would be better in capsule form
I've been taking it every morning for two weeks and so far I haven't seen any improvement. I recommend taking it with a very runny smoothie or juice; the spinach flavor is surprising.
