A plant blend to promote relaxation

Hemp

Hemp, or Cannabis Sativa, is one of the oldest medicinal plants known for its numerous benefits described in scientific literature. It stands out thanks to its calming and relaxing properties. Its cannabinoids, particularly cannabidiol, have contributed to the popularity of hemp and are credited with its therapeutic relaxing effects. For our Hemp Zen herbal tea, we use a variety of hemp grown in France and listed in the European catalogue. Our Hemp Zen herbal tea contains no THC.

Lemon verbena

Lemon verbena gets its name from being a highly aromatic plant with a fragrance reminiscent of lemon. Whether fresh, infused, or used to extract essential oil, it is primarily the leaves of the verbena that are rich in active compounds. When infused in hot water, Lemon verbena is traditionally used to reduce nervousness and irritability.

German chamomile

German chamomile, also known as True chamomile, is an essential plant in herbal medicine. Its effectiveness is well-established, having been recognised since antiquity for its soothing and calming properties. Chamomile flowers are recommended for infusion to promote relaxation and mental well-being. In herbal tea, chamomile flowers release their floral and honey-like flavour, softening the blend for a delightful moment of relaxation.

Marjoram

Marjoram is an aromatic herb very similar to oregano, rich in phenolic compounds that add warm, aromatic notes to the blend. Marjoram is well-known for its psychological and emotional benefits.

Lavender

Lavender flower, best known for its fragrance, is also an ideal ally for relaxation. Lavender, used in small doses in this infusion, adds a very delicate flavour that helps to soften the slightly bitter taste of hemp. Its gentle fragrance immediately soothes the mind!

Bitter Orange

Bitter Orange is a member of the citrus family. It is a hybrid between the mandarin and grapefruit trees. Its flowers give off a deliciously floral, pleasant fragrance. In our Hemp Zen herbal tea, Bitter Orange flowers add a sweet, comforting touch. Bitter Orange flowers help reduce nervousness and promote relaxation and mental balance.
