Step 1
Incorporate the Organic Red Vine Extract cold, at the end of the formulation.
Step 2
Add the gelling agent to your preparation while stirring with the mini whisk.
For making gels (up to 50% Organic Red Vine Extract)
Organic Red Vine Extract can easily be used at concentrations of up to 50% to make concentrated gels.
Making gels with Organic Red Vine Extract
Step 1
Transfer the required amount of Organic Butcher's Broom Extract into a bowl containing your aqueous preparation, then mix using a mini whisk.
Step 2
Shake well to ensure the contents are thoroughly mixed.
Step 3
Leave the mixture to rest for about 10 minutes (the gel will form).
Step 4
Mix vigorously again to obtain a smooth, even gel.
To make emulsions containing between 5% and 30% Organic Red Vine Extract
Formulating emulsions with Organic Red Vine Extract requires special care. Organic Red Vine Extract tends to destabilise emulsions at high concentrations. To make your emulsion, incorporate it into your aqueous phase and use the highest dosage of emulsifier.
In formulas with a high dosage of Organic Red Vine Extract (>40%), do not use the Benzoate & Sorbate Complex preservative to avoid any overdose of sodium benzoate.

Method of production
This hydroglycerin extract is obtained by macerating organic red vine leaves in a natural water/glycerin mixture.
Most of the active ingredients in red vine are soluble in water. So, by macerating red vine in a water/glycerin mixture, the active ingredients easily dissolve in the extraction liquid. After filtration, you get a water/glycerin mixture loaded with the plant's active ingredients.

Learn more
Red vine is a plant that has been known since ancient times, primarily for its fruit, which is used to make wine. The Greeks worshipped it and even designated it as the emblem of their civilization. There are many species of vine, including red vine.
In the 17th century, red vine leaves were used in infusions to relieve heavy legs.
Since then, there have been countless publications reporting its tonic and antioxidant benefits.
It is therefore only natural that it has found its place in antioxidant cosmetic products and in products designed to make legs feel lighter.
