Aloe vera can be incorporated as an active ingredient in all your water-based formulas: creams, milks, lotions, cleansing bases,...
There are two possible methods for doing this:
Reconstitute aloe vera juice for use as the aqueous phase in your cosmetic preparation
Dilute the organic Aloe vera powder in water, using 0.5 g of Aloe vera powder for 99.5 ml of water, preferably cold.
Mix until homogeneous to obtain reconstituted Aloe vera juice.
Use this Aloe vera juice in the aqueous phase (instead of water or a hydrosol, or mixed with water or a hydrosol) in your cosmetic formulations.

Vitamins C, B1, B2, B3, B6, B9 (folic acid), B12, E, provitamin A (beta-carotene), inositol: contribute to proper cellular function.
Minerals (magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc, etc.): Aloe vera juice contains more than 20 essential minerals required for the proper functioning of the skin’s various enzymatic systems.
Enzymes (including bradykinase, lipase, amylase): contribute to soothing, regenerating and purifying effects.
Monosaccharides (mannose-6-phosphate, L-rhamnose, arabinose, xylose, etc.): moisturizing properties.
Polysaccharides: acemannan (aloeverose), aloeride, glucomannan, galacturonan, arabinan, etc.: moisturizing and emollient action. Polysaccharides are able to retain large amounts of water (hydrating effect), have a skin-tightening effect and help reduce wrinkles.
Glycoproteins and amino acids (phenylalanine, leucine, lysine, arginine, threonine, etc.): Aloe contains 18 of the 22 amino acids present in the human body, including 7 of the 8 essential amino acids. They play a role in skin tissue regeneration (proliferation of keratinocytes and fibroblasts).
Growth factors (auxins, gibberellins): regenerating action, stimulate cell division and promote healing.
Lectin: promotes wound healing.
Saponins: cleansing and purifying properties.
Lignin: promotes skin penetration of the plant’s active compounds.
Phytosterols (beta-sitosterol, campesterol, lupeol): soothing and repairing, stimulate cell division.
Organic acids (malic acid, salicylic acid, etc.): skin-regenerating and purifying properties.

Find out more
Part of the Liliaceae family, Aloe vera or Aloe barbadensis is a succulent plant with prickly, leathery leaves. These leaves contain a transparent, gelatinous pulp that is edible once the aloin-rich latex surrounding it has been removed. Pressing this pulp produces the famous aloe vera juice, rich in polysaccharides, vitamins, trace elements, enzymes, and amino acids.
Aloe vera already appeared in the oldest medical treatises for its many medicinal and cosmetic properties. According to historians, Aristotle urged Alexander the Great to conquer the island of Socotra in Africa in order to collect sufficient quantities of Aloe vera as a healing agent for his soldiers. It is even said that Cleopatra secretly used Aloe vera juice in her beauty baths…
In cosmetics, Aloe vera juice is an excellent multifunctional active ingredient, known for its thirst-quenching, repairing, soothing and anti-aging properties on the skin, as well as for its moisturizing and beautifying effects on the hair.
The organic Aloe vera powder we offer is obtained by freeze-drying (cold drying) Aloe vera juice. Unlike the commonly used spray-drying process, this method helps preserve all the active compounds and nutrients of Aloe vera. Concentrated 200 times, it restores all the benefits of Aloe vera juice once diluted in water.
Aloe vera is grown in Mexico under Organic Farming conditions. Only the inner fillet of the leaf is pressed, in order to obtain a powder of the highest possible quality, free from aloin, an irritating and strongly laxative compound that may cause adverse effects.
To obtain Aloe vera juice, our supplier has developed an innovative process that restores a polysaccharide profile as close as possible to the natural composition of the leaf fillet. Indeed, the pulp of Aloe vera contains numerous polysaccharides of very different sizes, ranging from the largest (>200,000 Da) to the smallest (<5,000 Da). Depending on the size of these polysaccharide chains, their properties differ. For example, acemannan or aloeverose is a large polysaccharide known for its immunostimulant properties.
The smallest polysaccharides contribute to the soothing action, while the medium-sized ones provide purifying, repairing and antioxidant effects. The activity of the natural Aloe vera leaf fillet results from the synergy of all polysaccharide sizes. However, during juice extraction, it is common for large polysaccharides to degrade, which alters the properties of the product. It is also common for the total polysaccharide content to be significantly reduced compared to the natural pulp. The unique process developed by our supplier makes it possible to preserve the total polysaccharide content of the juice, while maintaining a molecular weight distribution of polysaccharides close to that of the natural pulp. Comparative analyses carried out by an independent laboratory show that their product is superior to other tested juices, with up to 9 times more acemannan (aloeverose).
