HOW STRESS CAUSES HAIR LOSS (NIH Research Matters)
Researchers have discovered that cortisol (a chronic stress hormone) prevents hair regrowth by keeping hair follicle stem cells in a prolonged resting phase. As a result, hair stops growing, which explains why prolonged periods of stress and lack of sleep can lead to significant hair loss.

The frequency depends on your scalp type: Every 2–3 days for a scalp with no particular issues; 1 to 3 times a week for hair prone to oiliness or seborrhoea; once a week for curly or wavy hair; and every 10 days to 2 weeks for frizzy or very dry hair.
Hair loss is caused by hairstyles that are too tight or worn repeatedly (ponytails, plaits, buns), which weaken the hair follicle. The Keratin Cosmetic Active can be added to hair care products to strengthen the hair shaft and minimise breakage.
