To gently cleanse your face, start by soaking your Konjac sponge in water by immersing it in a bowl filled with water, for example. You can use it with pure water or with a dab of your favourite face cleanser. Gently massage your face with the sponge, working from the centre outwards using gentle circular motions.

Step 1

Sweep the sponge over the entire neck using downward motions. Repeat this process twice.

Step 2

Sweep the sponge around the oval of the face using upward motions. Repeat this process 3 times.

Step 3

Sweep the sponge back and forth over your chin. Repeat this process 3 times.

Step 4

Make circles with the sponge at the corners of the mouth, then sweep the sponge back and forth over the lips. Repeat this process 3 times.

Step 5

Sweep the sponge back and forth under the nose, then up the sides of the nose. Repeat this process 3 times.

Step 6

Sweep the sponge over the nose using upward motions, then sweep the sponge over each side of the forehead. Repeat this process 3 times.

Step 7

Sweep the sponge over your cheeks using upward motions. Repeat this process 3 times, starting with the lower part of the face.

Step 8

Wipe the sponge over your eyelids and under your eyes, starting at the inner corner of the eyes and working up to the temples. Repeat this movement 3 times.

To keep your sponge in perfect condition for longer, we recommend storing it in the fridge in a glass box or dish. Storing it properly will keep it from drying out and ensure it is more pleasant to use: the coolness will give your skin a little boost every time you wash! Important: Avoid storing your sponge by hanging it up in your bathroom.

Please do not twist or crumple up the sponge when wringing it out; simply squeeze it gently. To avoid mould, we recommend disinfecting your sponge once a week.

To disinfect it, you can immerse the sponge for 2 minutes in water that has been brought to the boil in a saucepan. Alternatively, you can put 2 drops of Tea Tree essential oil on each side of your sponge. Purifying and antibacterial, Tea Tree essential oil will help keep your sponge clean and mould-free.
