Step 1: Prepare your skin before application

Before applying the anti-dark spot cream, start by 15thoroughly cleansing your face to remove impurities, excess sebum and any make-up residue. Gently pat your skin dry before applying your skincare products.

Step 2: Apply a serum if necessary

The Hordatine & Exosomes Anti-Dark Spot Face Cream can be used on its own, straight after cleansing. To boost the effectiveness of your anti-dark spot treatment, you can apply it after a targeted serum:

• the Hordatine & Liquorice Extract Serum, with a light serum texture, to complement the targeted action on dark spots 

• the Vitamin C & Glabridin Oil Serum, with a rich, enveloping texture, to combine the antioxidant action of Vitamin C with the anti-dark spot action of Glabridin

First apply the serum and allow it to absorb before following with the cream.

Step 3: Apply the cream to the face and neck

Apply the cream in the morning and/or evening, all over the face and neck. Place a small amount of product onto the skin, then spread it evenly over the affected areas.

Yes, if you are going to be exposed to the sun, apply a sunscreen with a high SPF after your usual skincare routine and reapply it regularly. 

The Hordatine & Exosomes Anti-Dark Spot Face Cream does not contain any sun filters. This is because it is intended for use in the morning and evening: sun protection is not necessary in the evening, as there is no UV exposure. In the morning, when the skin is exposed to the sun, a suitable sun protection product must be applied in addition and reapplied throughout the day to ensure effective photoprotection [2].18 The formula does, however, contain antioxidant active ingredients whose efficacy has been assessed by instrumental tests, helping to limit skin damage caused by exposure to light.

In the morning, if you’re going to be exposed to the sun, remember to follow this with a sunscreen with a high SPF. In the evening, the cream can be used on its own or after a targeted serum.

Frequency

To gradually improve the appearance of dark spots 11, apply the cream regularly: in the morning, in the evening, or both morning and evening, depending on your chosen frequency.
