The Aroma-Zone Scientific Committee

Aroma-Zone unveils its Scientific Committee. A panel of multidisciplinary experts, comprising healthcare professionals, scientists and wellness practitioners, to enhance and consolidate the brand’s in-house expertise.

The purpose of the Scientific Committee

Science is a field that requires rigour, precision and objectivity. This is the day-to-day work of Aroma-Zone’s R&D teams, who develop and ensure the safety of innovative products based on scientific literature and their own expertise and in-house research.

Today, the Aroma-Zone Scientific Committee is stepping in to provide support. Its purpose is to promote and consolidate the work of the in-house R&D teams whilst lending the brand scientific credibility.

Adopting a comprehensive, 360-degree approach, the Aroma-Zone Scientific Committee comprises a Panel of Dermatologists, a Multidisciplinary Council and, of course, a Panel of in-house experts, bringing together a diverse range of skills and expertise.

Comprising three closely connected and complementary panels, the Scientific Committee has been established to bring together all areas of scientific expertise relevant to the brand’s ambitions, ranging from fundamental dermatology to integrative wellbeing, including nutrition and hair health.

The three pillars of the Aroma-Zone Scientific Committee

The roles of the Scientific Committee

  1. Guiding the brand’s innovation strategy

Aroma-Zone has been innovating every day for several years now, driven on the one hand by feedback from its community and, on the other, by the extensive expertise of its in-house R&D experts. From today, this innovation will also be guided by close collaboration between the Internal Expert Panel, the Dermatologists’ Panel and the Multidisciplinary Council. These three panels will work together to propose new avenues of research and new active ingredients by pooling their complementary expertise.

For example, Aroma-Zone will shortly be conducting an observational study aimed at understanding the nutritional habits (diet and supplementation) of athletes during preparation and recovery. This data will enable us to better understand their expectations and to tailor our innovation strategy as effectively as possible based on the findings. Members of the Scientific Committee will be actively involved in this project.

  2. Explaining the science behind the products

Our consumers are becoming increasingly knowledgeable. Professionals in dermatology and wellbeing are taking an increasing interest in our innovations. Because behind every new product development there is careful consideration and a scientific explanation, from tomorrow the Scientific Committee will be able to, endorse our expertise, explain our formulation choices, make our scientific ambition accessible to a wider audience, and contribute to the development of our product portfolio.

Soon, you will see the ‘approved by dermatologists’ or ‘approved by the Scientific Committee’ stamp appearing on our facial products.

  3. Ensuring the brand’s scientific credibility

Developing a new product, whether it be a dermo-cosmetic or a food supplement, is a meticulous process in which scientific theory, operational feasibility and customer safety must be perfectly balanced. This is how Aroma-Zone is able to guarantee safe, effective and natural formulations. Today, with the support of the three panels that make up our Committee, we aim to contribute to scientific research by communicating more actively about our research work, whether in scientific journals or at recognised national conferences.

With the help of the Scientific Committee, Aroma-Zone aims to redouble its efforts in communicating with the scientific community through abstracts, posters and manuscripts. This will begin in 2026 with a presentation at the annual congress of the SFT (French Society of Toxicology) in November and the submission of two posters to the JDP (Paris Dermatology Days) in December.

  4. Establishing our holistic approach

Skin health, hair health, well-being and the health of the planet go hand in hand. Establishing a multidisciplinary Scientific Committee will enable Aroma-Zone to approach science and nature from different angles, in the interests of global health.

The partnership we have established with the Inserm Foundation to study the link between persistent pollutants and the severity of endometriosis is a perfect example of this. Members of the Scientific Committee will be involved at various levels in this large-scale project of high scientific value.

The purpose of the Scientific Committee

Aroma-Zone is on the cusp of a major turning point in its research and product development: drawing on the expertise of professionals in dermatology and wellbeing to underpin its innovations with scientific rigour. Through this approach, which holds significant value for its customers and healthcare professionals, Aroma-Zone is consolidating its scientific credibility.
