The Aroma-Zone Multidisciplinary Council

Aroma-Zone has officially launched its Multidisciplinary College.

A key pillar of the Scientific Committee in its own right, the Aroma-Zone Multidisciplinary Council safeguards the brand’s integrative and holistic vision. Comprising experts from diverse backgrounds, the complementary nature of their profiles will enable them to address concepts of health and wellbeing with science as their guiding principle. Our Multidisciplinary Council comprises of four experts, who will contribute their knowledge of nutrition, micronutrition, natural health, hair health and wellbeing to the work of the Scientific Committee.

The purpose of the Multidisciplinary Council

Nutrition and lifestyle are the cornerstones of wellbeing and long-term health. As topics that attract a great deal of media attention, they deserve to be backed by tangible, scientific evidence. The Multidisciplinary Council will act as the scientific guardian of our innovations and communications in this field, strengthening the link between science and naturalness – two areas that should no longer be seen as opposed.

Bringing together a nutritionist, a naturopath, an aromatherapist and a trichologist (a specialist in scalp and hair health), the Council offers a broad range of expertise to support both science communication and the development of food supplements. It will work closely with the Committee’s two other panels to ensure an integrated approach.

The roles of the Multidisciplinary Council

  1. Guiding the brand’s innovation strategy

As a company committed to wellbeing, Aroma-Zone develops a wide range of plant-based products (essential oils, hydrosols, powders, herbal teas), superfoods and dietary supplements. Drawing on its knowledge and practical expertise, the Multidisciplinary Council will enrich the Scientific Committee’s pool of expertise by suggesting new avenues of research, endorsing the use of new natural active ingredients and jointly developing the Aroma-Zone innovations of tomorrow.

  2. Explaining the science behind the products

The importance of a balanced diet, the need to return to nature, the urgency of managing stress… these are all messages that overwhelm consumers and patients with a flood of contradictory information. And to make matters no simpler, the scientific literature on these subjects is growing ever more extensive – often sound, but sometimes open to criticism. Our Multidisciplinary Council will be tasked with unravelling the science behind our products in order to better explain and simplify it for our community, as well as for health and wellbeing professionals. To this end, close and regular collaboration between the three panels is planned.

  3. Consolidating Aroma-Zone’s holistic approach

Aroma-Zone advocates a different approach to skincare: one that is safe for health, natural, effective, respectful of life and accessible. The brand offers natural solutions with proven effectiveness in healthy beauty, wellbeing and nutrition. Aroma-Zone’s holistic approach is therefore undeniable, and the Scientific Committee will enable the brand to distinguish itself in these three areas. Through the diversity and complementary nature of its members’ expertise, the Multidisciplinary Council perfectly embodies this holistic approach and will provide scientific support for it.
